Avatar: Lightning strikes (OOC)

Rozin is for this....cause come on he was totally jealous

and Ty Luko... I think it says something that he's the only guy she doesn't flirt with and yet is so obviously disappointed that he thinks she's as ditzy as she seems

and I like Suki.. I really really do ..she's so completely awesome... it's just my Tokka fangirlism eclipses that ..and umm Yue is the Moon so hey no threat!

Yay! Roku and Sozin 4eva! :: does a little dance to celebrate the cute! ::

Tell you what, though. Tell you what?

Let's say Sokka ditches Suki for Toph. I can call dibs on Suki, right? (Even if I'm just the rebound girl, I'll accept that.)

lol *rubs her chin in thought* I find this most acceptable..and and rebounds can totally turn into true love yeah? maybe..*thumbs up* wish you luck

short bio... gah

Name: Ty Lee Yuen
Age: 22
Abilities: Acrobatics and master of Dim Mak

Bio:Born into Fire Nation nobility, she is one out of seven identical sisters. This led to more than a fair amount of being mistaken for someone else and vice versa. Not to mention that there was always the possibility that one or two girls would be left behind due to how hectic getting seven little girls together can be. It wore on all their nerves, but seemed to effect Ty Lee the most so that she couldn't accept it as her sisters had. Which was the driving force beyond almost everything she did when she was little. Climb a tree, do a cartwheel, befriend the Princess Azula, and maybe she'd be called by her name without her parents tripping over a few tries first.

Not that it ever seemed to work for long. Even when she'd left home and joined the circus, they'd barely even noticed her absence. Though this was more than likely due to the fact that her sisters were covering for her. Something they continued to do when she left once again for Kyoshi Island. Well, until a few years back when her father died and their mother suddenly decided that marrying her daughters off was of utmost importance. Which resulted in Ty Lee being frantically called back by her sisters and an engagement that had more to do with politics than anything else. At least her sisters had matches that they were more or less happy with. Ty Lee avoids her own inevitable wedding as best she can by staying out of the Fire Nation completely.

Family life not included, she likes where she is now. The quiet life on Kyoshi Island is nice. Even if a few still don't entirely trust her, and she had to curb a bit of her flirtatious nature since a lot of girls weren't happy about her stealing the available men there. She still gets along well enough and while they may not all be best friends, they are still her friends after all.

Really?

:: grins! :: I did okay? Thank you.

And. Um. Cabbage Man was sort of a nod to you? Because you mentioned him before.

(I wanted to reward you for writing a very glompable Sokka. Seriously, sweets, you wrote like two three lines of his and I just got all giggly and giddy. ^_^; )

Then I thank you for the gift that is the Cabbage Man cameo. I missed him during the third season, even though it made sense for him to not show up since most of it took place in Fire Nation territory.

And I'm glad you enjoyed my first attempt at writing Sokka. He's probably my favorite character in the series, so I'm trying not to butcher the guy too badly whenever it comes time to NPC him. ;)

As for shipping, I'm all about Kataang, Maiko and Tokka when it comes to the main characters. But I will admit that Sokka and Suki had some cute moments during Ember Island Players which I enjoyed. And Zutara's an interesting crack!ship, but I could never consider it as actual canon. Plus, the last few episodes made me consider Zuko and Mai way too cute (in their own way) a couple to break up.

*pulls up a chair and begins poking Unseen with a stick*

I don't think you could butcher Sokka if you tried. Not you, Big E. You have much talent, and your love for our boy runs deep.

BUT IF ANYONE DOES TRY TO BUTCHER HIM, I'LL GO SMELLERBEE ON THEIR ASS

...um I'm overprotective sorry.

*reads that after having written the last post*

Hmm..

*runs*

Good :3

I have no idea what to write lately, I'm sorry. -_-

..when I stop being stuck on Fic Maiko getting off.... yes it is a rather tender picture

Name: Lanai (Lan)
Age: 20
Appearance:
Home Land: Southern Water Tribe

Abilities: water bending , tracking, trap building, blood bending,
Bio: Lan had a lot to live up to as the youngest of five siblings, and the only female of a mixed marriage. Her mother was killed by a fire bender more then explaining her distaste for the entire fire bending nation. She grew up competing for the attention of her father with siblings that were older and stronger then her. Given the lack of teacher she did not even attempt to learn water bending. As soon as she was able she joined her brothers on the hunt and proved to be an adept tracker. This more shamed then impressed her brothers who more often then not found themselves lost. After the invitations to hunt long ago ended she began to wrestle with the boys of the tribe.

She soon gained a reputation as a tomb boy which concerned her step mother who had already married of both of her sons. Her mother a traditionalist from the north wanted to send her daughter to be trained as a proper lady. The attack of the fire nation ended her plans and her life. Her father became withdrawn and soon, was of poor health forcing her to take care of him. When he died she had no reason to stay in the southern tribes and left for the northern tribes. With the war between the fire nations and the earth nation and water tribes warriors were in demand. She became a tracker searching for any trace of the Air nomads in case Aang was not the last.

Along the way she met a water bending assassin named Yan who was traveling through the land of sand benders. Like many she was left without water or food in the desert in order to live she began practicing blood bending. Yan an orphan knew little of the civilized world. Yet she was unable to live of nature and was forced to steal or kill to get food. Learning math, reading and writing as well as hunting and tracking from Lan she in turn taught her blood and water bending. She eventually crossed the earth nation and arrived in the northern water tribe only to find she had nothing in common with the northern tribe.

Here's a question.

You seem to have an interesting character concept here.

But I wonder where you'd like to go with this. Are you crafting a character who'll side with Azula in her campaign against The Avatar and The Four Nations? Or are you creating a broken-souled creature who will, eventually, find the redemption that Azula probably never will?

Because it seems to me that you could go either way with this character. There's a lot of possibility.

i wanted to create a women consumed by revenge....when what she hated was her own weakness. so she could join Azula....she would look up to Azula....and would only use bending when her life was at risk....in the end when she was confident she would turn on Azula to dominate....be defeated and then look for allies....that how i see it....because Lania is running from her past and fighting the world...self denial... thanks for the if you or anyone want to give more help it is welcome

In that case, with that in mind, my only other question for you is: Do you have a plan as to how she gets from The Northern Water Tribe to the company of Crazy Azula? Because that might be something to think about.

(Aaaand you're quite welcome. X) )

1 captured by four nations Azula rescues her

2 tracks down Azula

3 attacks four nations atracts Azulas attention

4 disguises her self as azula to get her attenion

5 steals a ship and goes in search of her

thanks for the sugestion

where is azula

I guess I'll take Aang over again. I have half a post written but now I'm too tired to finish it, so I will tomorrow.

You're a peach, Ahren. :: chuckles softly ::

It's The Avatar's arrival what would predicate my character's crashing the party, so I was sorta dilly-dallying 'till then. ^_^;

None of those are bad ideas. :: nodnod ::

Azula is presently in The Fire Nation (unless I misread things, someone correct me?) breaking out of prison/asylum.

I was actually wondering what we were going to do about Aang. Although I have to question how much of a threat Azula would present against a fully realized Avatar. Guess that's where her band of followers would come in to try and tip the scales. Bending fodder. *snickers*

And I want to quickly point out in advance that bloodbending only works during a full moon. Just wanna throw that out there since a surprising number of people seem to overlook this fact when writing about its use.

Kewl. Just seems a lot of people get confused because it's easy to miss the moon in background shots during the Southern Raiders episode, where Katara suddenly bloodbends the ships Captain.

And if I have to explain to one more person about why she didn't bloodbend Azula during the finale.... /random fanboy rant
