Can probably still get your holiday entry done- BUT-

I don't do Incest- horror, non-consent- no characters under 21 -no celeb- and I forget half the categories, so if I say no thanks, please don't get bent, this is a volunteer thing after all.

I work in WORD- I prefer a word count around 6-7,000 or less. I will not edit anything much beyond that. I'm not interested in editing your ongoing work or signing on with you full time.

I am a published author/writer and I do some professional editing so you can have the quick easy frilly thing or a serious look. BUT - you wrote it, at least run it through a spellchecker.

Turn around is generally quick, but no guarantees.

Hi, I'd love to help anyone with editing. Nothing specifically stands out as a genre I won't be at least willing to take a look at, though I don't think "celebrity" would really fit into my repertoire. I work with editing and story stuff as a job, so I promise I can give you a lot of dedication in my edits that are thoughtful and from a base of knowledge. Shoot me a message, I'd love to read your smut.

I use MS Word 2007; so word documents are the best format for me.

Editing This Month

I am currently available to edit all stories, except for those containing gay male sex, sexualized bodily functions, transgender or intersex characters, or crossdressing characters.

I edit for content, characterization, description, plot--everything that makes for an engaging and memorable story. I will also edit the more advanced points of grammar, and will assist with the usage of advanced punctuation, such as em dashes and semi-colons. I will not edit for basic spelling, grammar, and punctuation; if I put your story into Word and little red, blue, and green lines pop up all over the place, I will send it back. Also, I use the Oxford comma and will expect you to, as well.

You can submit your stories in any format, other than .txt, and I will return it to you in that format.

I have no length/word count standards, but base my acceptance on the degree of work the story needs and the amount of time I currently have. Some twenty page stories take a day, and some two page stories take five. I am also open to ongoing work, if I feel that it is a good fit.
