Introduction

Thanks for taking a look at my profile, I regularly check my emails and pms. Normally I try to respond within 48 hours but sometimes it may take longer due to my other commitments. As an editor, I do have preferences for stories and there are stories I will not edit, see my list. In additional I have experience with both UK & US English. If your story is not on my preferred list, its length is less than 7,500 words, and does not contain scenes that are listed on my, "Stories I will not edit," then please contact me since I maybe willing to edit it.

My preference for stories to edit:

• Cuckold
• Domination / Submission, especially stories that has cuckolding as a part of it.
• Threesomes
• Group sex
• How To
• Essay / Reviews
• Working with New Authors
• Provided the story is not on my, "Stories I will not edit," list I will work with UK authors who want help with US English or US authors wanting help with UK words.

Editing focus, Editing Request, & Submission of story for editing

The focus of my editing is on story structure, story flow, and character development. Nonetheless, I will spend some time focusing on spelling and grammar. This means most of my editing is on story content versus ensuring that the writing complies with all of the rules regarding grammar.

When contacting me about editing please include the following:

• Type of story
• Approximate length
• Type of editing being sought
• If the story has been rejected by the Literotica, the reason for the rejection.
• Format of story, Word, RTF, of if you will copy & paste the story into your email
• If I accept your story I will need your email address

Finally, my preferred editing format is Word since it allows me to show my editing marks and comments. In the past I have tried using Open Office and based on experience with it, I will not edit using Open Office. Other formats such as RTF or copy & paste is acceptable for me. However due to the limitations using formats other than Word, my editing feedback is more of a summary rather than specific.

College Student Willing to Edit

Hi, I am a college student studying English. I don't have a ton of experience editing, mainly just my own works and those of my friends and classmates, but I also get A's on all my papers (I know it sounds cocky, but it's really true). I am willing to edit just about anything except BDSM, Erotic Horror, Fetish, Mind Control, and Transsexuals/Cross-dressers. It's not that I have anything against these categories, I simply don't have much experience with them (reading or otherwise) and would not wish to sell an author short. I especially enjoy editing Gay Male, Non-Human, Romance, and Scifi/Fantasy. If you have a story you would like me to edit send me a pm with the general idea of the story (main characters, setting, etc.), length, and deadline if there is one. I can do both grammatical and content editing and prefer to do both, though if you only want one I can try and keep my keyboard quiet about the other. I am also willing to work on longer stories and those that will come out in multiple chapters.

Hey everyone,
I have just been added to the Volunteer Editing group and am available this month for most story submissions.

I prefer either RTF, .doc formats or just copy and paste into e-mails. Story genre's I am about into anything about from SciFi or Celebrity and specialize in Incest/Gay Male/ Lesbian but as I said I am up for anything.

I can only work in English so if you have some work that you are working on and would like some input let me know I can do both grammatical and content editing.

Looking for an editor

Hi

I recently posted my first story on Literotica and received some positive feedback. I was advised to get an editor and so I contacted a couple that were listed. One accepted me, the others didnt repspond at all.

After several weeks and nothing, I have tried to get an update and on 1 occasion got a "your update is on its way" but still nothing. I am now looking for someone who can edit and provide me with feedback on my stories. I have 2 more waiting to be reviewed and I'm unsure what to do.

I am looking for an editor who can work with me. My stories are group and voyeur, exhibition and a couple more. Not taboo at all.

Available New Editor

I have only recently signed up as a VE, so I have very little actual experience. I've only edited one story to date, and as far as I know, it's not been posted yet.

I have no professional background in editing, but I do have a very good ability to work out details. I also read, alot, so I know what sounds good, and what needs work. There are very few stories I read on this site where I don't notice glaring mistakes, usually just spelling, but certainly other aspects also.

If you feel like taking a chance on me and my abilities, feel free to browse through my profile to see if your story falls into what I have agreed to edit. I promise to respond to any requests within a reasonable amount of time, usually 1-2 days, but normally within 24 hours.

The only way to do this fairly is first come, first served. The door is open, take a chance if you like.
