I check my emails and pms on a regular basis. Normally I try to respond within 48 hours but sometimes it may take loner due to my other commitments. This month I am busier usual and I am giving my limited editing time priority to following types of stories:

• Cuckold
• Domination / Submission stories that have cuckolding as a part of it.
• Threesome
• Group Sex
• Depending on the subject matter and length, I will give priority to editing Reviews / Essays or How-To
• Prefer working with new authors rather than well established authors

I will not edit:

• Incest / Taboo
• Celebrities
• Romance
• Non-sex
• Sci-fi / horror
• Stories that will not be published on Literotica
• Stories over 5,000 words. However, depending on the demands for my time and story content, I maybe flexible for works up to 7,500 words.
• Unfortunately I do not have the time to work with authors who are planning to write their stories over several chapters & I have no interest in editing a chapter in a story.
• Stories that I have previously rejected
• Unless I am told in advance about possible delays to my replies, any author that does not respond to my reply within 72 hours of my reply being sent.

Other stories I will consider but due to constraints on my time this month, I will give priority to stories on my preference list.

The focus of my editing is on story structure, story flow, and character development. Nonetheless, I will spend some time focusing on spelling and grammar. This means most of editing is on story content versus ensuring that the writing complies with all of the rules regarding grammar.

Finally when contacting me about editing please include the following:

• Type of story
• Approximate word length
• If you are able to send it as a Word (*.doc) or if you will copy / paste the story
• Your editing expectations
• If you have had Literotica rejected your story the reason for the rejection

Hello. I am able to edit for anyone that may need an editor this month, up until August 21st. I am already editing many different types of stories for different authors and I still write my own. I am best at helping with the overall flow of a story and grammar. I am willing to help bounce ideas around if the author were to need it. I welcome any level of author; from the 'just joined Lit today' to the 'has been writing for way too long.'

I am willing to edit stories involving sex between a man and a woman if they fall into my preferred categories. I am also willing to make exceptions to that rule if I am bored and need something to do.

Submitting Work To Me

Last point regarding sending a copy to me, please make sure before sending a copy to me you have already done some basic editing to correct spelling at a minimum. Plus you have done a check of submission guidelines before sending it to me to ensure that your story will not be rejected once you submit it. My preferred format is Word *.doc or stories copied & pasted into a PM. If you PM with your story please provide your email address so that I can send a Word document with comments. Finally when sending a story to me if you could let me know what you expect from the editing process it would be much appreciated. After a long dry spell I should be available for editing this month. I can assist with both proofreading and stuctural / plot editing, as long as you understand that it'll just be my opinions on what works for me the latter.

I'm open to both plotted works and fast-and-dirty stroke stories. Fave categories in no particular order include voyeur and exhibitionist (particularly latter), incest, group, and sf/fantasy. I'm willing to read about anything, but full-on gay male (bi mixed in is fine), celebrities, and male humiliation / sissification don't do much for me so I'm probably not your best audience. Also, I write non-erotic texts for a living so that's not going to be my focus here, sorry.

I've been editing on Lit since December 2010, and am available this month for some editing work. I am a voracious reader who doesn't want to see the movie instead of reading the book. I am also anal to the occasional fault. I read with an eye for punctuation, grammar, syntax, and style. I am not a creative writer in a professional sense, rather a systems analyst. My work tasks require exacting precision with written language.

My tastes are fairly broad but usually exacting - I am definitely a music purist of a sort, so I may not be your best choice if the story to edit involves a lot of current popular culture.

I have had a few pieces of poetry published, a long time ago.

I require 7 to 10 days to fully conduct a thorough review and edit the story/submission.

I read the story a minimum of four times, with different levels of granularity and focus

The story must be sent in an attached file, not as text embedded within an e-mail message.

I prefer to use Microsoft Word, in order to take advantage of the Track Changes feature, as well as the ability to insert Comments.

Files in OpenOffice format must be saved such that MS Word can open the files.

Multiple passes through a version, chapter, or draft is preferable. I will perform a one-off review, but I am certain that the multiple-pass approach yields a better final version.

I am the editor, not the writer; the writer retains all rights to disregard my editorial suggestions and findings. I note that willingness to negotiate by both parties makes the editorial process quite a bit easier.

If real-time events restrict my ability to meet a delivery deadline, I will notify the writer as quickly as possible.

I prefer the use of Lit user/site names; I prefer, but do not require, anonymity.

I find it most useful to use Track Changes and Notes in OpenOffice/LibreOffice/Microsoft Word, but I don't personally use Microsoft products so I am very flexible around file formats and how you would like feedback.
