Found this while looking up other stuff, thought I would pass it along.
It's the people who run Fucking Machines.
4) Screenwriters
We are looking for scripts to produce 30-40 minute erotic shorts which will be produced with a higher production value than our existing work and which will be distributed on our existing sites to enhance and complement them. If you are interested in being hired to write a 30-40 page script, please start by sending a 1 page treatment (double spaced) to peter@cnemedia.com. If selected to write a script, we will negotiate a price for a first draft ( possibly followed by a second) based on your treatment. We will also give you credit as the writer or co-writer (depending on whether you are selected for the second draft).
Scripts should follow the standard 3 acts form (setup, conflict and resolution). In act I, we want to meet the characters and understand their needs. In act II we want to see the conflict as the main character tries to achieve his/her goals based on his/her needs. In act III we want to see resolution; what ultimately happens to the main character? Does he/she achieve his/her goals?
We are NOT looking for porn scripts (i.e. a script with a skeleton story with 50% of the text describing sex). The story content, character development and plot points are more important than descriptions of sex. If a sex scene occurs which does not further the story (other than just that it occurs), just spend a few sentences describing it, and then get back to the story. However, if the type of sex is integral to the story (i.e. if it reveals something about the characters), then by all means describe whatever is relevant about the sex. For example, suppose Billy is striving to become more dominant. In this case, a description of the sex is necessary because it reveals Billy's efforts.
Please also note that we are looking for BELIEVABLE stories, rather than fantasy. For example, if your story features an abduction, your story needs to include the intense emotions that go along with it: apprehension and fear of the abductors (they are commiting a felony!), genuine terror of the abductee, and grief of the abductee's friends and family. Please, no aliens with three cocks!
As much as possible, your script should incorporate resources already at our disposal. We can buy stock footage of building exteriors, cities, airplanes, trains etc, but the main locations should mostly be places we have direct access to, for example:
- a office with 30 people in it which looks like an advertising office
- a plush executive office
- smaller 1 and 2 person offices
- a run down doctor's examination room
- a science fiction area
- a warehouse room
- a Moroccan/eastern room
- a luxury roof deck with tiki bar and hot tub
- an elevator shaft
- a bar/restaurant with pool table and stripper pole
- a medieval dungeon
- a jail cell
- a barn
- a seedy large damp basement with low ceilings
- a wrestling ring
- a variety of San Francisco houses and apartments.
If you have browsed our sites, you will have seen our shooting rules. These rules apply to pornographic materials and not to these higher budget productions. The acceptability of the content of each project will be taken on its own merits. For example, a police story including a genuine abduction, or a troubled woman seeing a flashback of a rape would both be acceptable within your treatment, even though they are against our shooting rules for our lower budget productions.
We would also consider adaptations of comics or erotic literature. In this case, write a treatment and indicate which work(s) it is based on. If your treatment is not based on anyone else's work, it must be 100% your own, and we will ask you to sign a document on which you swear that the work is original.
Happy writing!
