Are they best before or after a story?

I'm co-authoring a story and I'd like to write a note reflecting that along with a link to the other author's submission page as the'll be writing/posting the even number chapters. Suggestions?

TIA

At the end of the first story and at the start of the rest. Make sure you include the link using proper html code, or it will not only look bad, but may screw up the entire page formatting.

You should have no problem getting something like this approved, for example:

<i>Author's Note: This series will have 10 chapters. I will be posting the odd-numbered chapters, and <a href="http://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=000000>Other_Author</a> will post the even ones.</i>

The only links you can use are internal Literotica links, by the way. ;)

I'd also add - Keep it brief -people can be a bit anti- authors notes, so keep it as short and simple as you can!!

Oh and welcome :D

That's probably why no-one reads my stories. My author's notes are a tradition, or an old charter, or something.

Welcome to the AH. Love the name.

Thank you all for the suggestions, they were of help and I'll keep them in mind when I submit my story.
