We are already seeing this in the US on a more informal basis. In my city, some self-righteous turd blossom filmed and snitched on patrons at a bar that had just reopened for "people not being six feet apart and many not wearing masks." The county has now closed the bar indefinitely, probably to take its license, and sherriff deputies are citing those patrons who can be identified. It was basically a bunch of college kids partying at a bar.

This is what really we've come to? The better question, is this really the kind of world we want?
