The new right wing coalition, which includes the national populist Freedom Party, has overturned a ban on smoking in bars and taverns in the Alpine Country.

I foresee desperate smokers crowding into Austrian embassies and consulates worldwide seeking political asylum. Local bomberos (firefighters) will be called out to suppress the smoke clouds. Adjacent nations (Italia, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia) will demand that Austria enclose itself in an airtight bubble. Armies equipped with water cannon will mobilize along the borders. The EU will stand helplessly by, watching and denouncing. Putin will exploit the crisis to further destabilize the West. The world order will crumble. Will missiles be launched?

And all because some assholes want to smoke when they drink in public. Stay home! Poison your own families! Set your own beds and walls on fire! Have fun!
