Well the WWE.com article explained it pretty well.. It was no secret he wasn't happy with how he was being used and didn't like the fact tat *gasp* his on screen persona should lose once in a while!

I'm glad to see they are ready too move on.. way too much talent being held back behind Austin's crying.
