Aussies I NEED YOU!!!!

I am going to Oz for a month. I will be arriving on July 26th at Melbourne. If any of you know of me you know I have had get togethers with people from NYC area and such. So here is your chance to help me get to meet several of you down under. I am hoping that MD from lit chat will get to fly by Melbourne to meet me for a day or two and figured why not see if others are out there willing to have a night out like we have done in NYC.

Drake I hear I might be close to where you live so be forewarn that this cheeky American is coming to your neck of the world. So you better make some time for me also.

If you are interested in trying to develop and participate in an outing for a day post your ideas here. I will have to rely on the opinions of people that live in the area of Melbourne of pubs, clubs or what not. It is my first time there. Hmm does that make me a virgin again?

Also is there a directory for Aussies like several states in America have. If so can somebody point me in the direction of them in Lit.

Tulip I saw your plea for help here first before seeing you had found the Aussie thread. I'm in NSW and proberly won't be able to get to Melbourne again this year, but I do have great memories of spending a few days there in March.
I know you will enjoy it.

Hey if there is enough that trek down by Melbourne perhaps you can figure out a way again. I might also want to take a couple of days in the north but still not sure financially and time wise.

we will be coming for a 3 day visit (I have been informed that I am going shopping *Groan!!!*)

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I would assume the weekend before I leave then would work. August 16,17,18 sounds good. Now I am thinking I am leaving on August 24th. Hmmm perhaps if we could hook up on the 23rd and then I would fly out on the 24th might be a little too much. I feel so greedy right now. I cannot wait to meet you both. Major hugs. OK are there any other Aussies that can make it 16,17, 18, or 23. We finally have four days that are narrowed down now.
