Aussies! Check in here!

Mmmm... Motor-sports. Used to love the gp bikes up until they stopped racing two strokes. It was like the soul went out of it after that. I had an rg500 that had been built to Bazza Sheen's specs that i used to punt around lakeside in brissy. Hell of a beast. I saw 265kmh on it. The wind was trying to pull me up off the bike and I'd only just changed into sixth gear but bottled out from going any higher.

Off fishing on Saturday. Yearly hiatus to Fraser Island for the opening of Indian Heads. Busy today washing clothes, packing camp gear and sorting out fishing rods. I'm looking forward to a week of fishing and camping and friends. It's a bit tough on me with the ptsd as while im away all sorts of irrational fears plague me for my family left at home. I'm getting better at it though, I stay present as much as i can and try to just enjoy the moment.

Glad to hear you're recovering WQ.

Stay well the rest of you mob. See you in a week or so.

Well Well Hello fellow Aussies,
I haven't been on for long long time,
Just been cruzing along with work, but now the fun begins
with the start of the speedway racing season in brizzy.

Not gonna argue with you on that so how about the GF, I'll take the Crows regardless of who they face.... Stakes?

This could be interesting lol.

Be careful, DU hasn't had th best track record this finals series. She might tip the Crows for next week...

By the time I can tie shoelaces from a standing position, I'm hoping I can do pretty much e v e r y t h i n g again!

Today has been rain. Persistant, medium-ish rain. Definitely spring!

A little pissed off at supercars formatting.... I wish they'd start the main race an hour earlier! That way, when there's a mishap like on Sunday, we don't get a time-certain finish! I wanted to see the Sandown 500. What I actually saw was the Sandown 410. :(

Good to see you have goals:D

As for the weather well I think every place east of WA has got some warm to hot weather in the last couple of days. Back to reasonable temps today in Melbourne town. Was very warm and windy yesterday thankfully the rain held off till after the footy. The warmer weather now has me thinking of the prep work I need to do before my painting tasks this Summer.

I'm not that far from Sandown. Went there for a birthday party in July. Could hear cars practicing on the track from the car park of the venue.

Afternoon all,

Well it will be a busy week. The Royal Melbourne Show is on thru the school holidays. Not sure if I'll go this year as it's not what it used to be, but always fun for the kids.

For those coming to Melbourne it will be public holiday this Friday for the footy although some more discussion of moving the holiday to the Monday after the GF which would make more sense.

I'm going for the underdog in the GF i.e. the Tigers over the Crows but am expecting a tough game. The Tiger roar will be in full voice so the Crows supporters will be very much outmatched. The AFL is also happy due to the high ticket sales. As for the rugby well have to go for the Storm as a local Melbourne boy. As for Crows supporters, I'd suggest safety in numbers this week if in Melbourne.

The weather all over the world seems to be pushing back against human mismanagement. Earthquakes, hurricanes, fires, postal surveys.

The times we live in. Says a lot when Jong Kim (Supreme Leader) says that Rump (dictator in training) is a madman. Case of Rocket Man vs Pumpkin Man result...pumpkin pie with Asian greens (they can't afford steak)

Hope your week goes well.

Not so sure about the roar... Each team only gets 17,500 tickets which is pathetic. The rest is corporates and guests, go figure that money is more important than fans. Then again maybe a lot of the guests will be going for the home side.

Looking for Direction and info

Hello, completely off topic but, I have lurked here for years off and on more off than on. We are in Canada. However we have a niece who has recently located down your way ( actually Bali) was wondering if anyone can steer me towards a site or maybe have some information about the volcano that is apparently close to erupting in that area. Cheers.

Good morning :)

Spent a happy and relaxed Sunday with my kids and grandbabies all together in the one place - something that only happens a few times a year these days!
Fun, food, family.... the 3 magic ingredients

Today is home day..... need to get some paperwork done and also see if I can stretch my budget to allow for a Bathurst trip. Really want to go, so might have to make it happen!

A little disappointed that apathy seems to be dictating the possible loss of same-sex marriage law changes :(
Seems folks are so sick of all the politics going on around this issue that they're simply not bothering to fill in and return the ballot papers.
It will be a sad day indeed if it fails to pass because people don't care enough.

So i should post this in the what made you say fuxk today thread but no one would understand. The new royal adelaide hospital that they spent millions on. Is whacked. I hate it. There is no clear signage. You need barcodes for appointments and yeah its terrible. And i should have a paying gig because i have told about 50 people where to go and how to get out and its our first visit.

Carn the Crows.... we will see who is the best in AFL tipping tomorrow. DUG on the Tigers and me on the Crows.

Gonna be an awesome game and close but the Crows have the upper hand IMHO.

So many options for a bet.... but maybe will keep it private
