Since my last ideas have been more sapphic, I figured it might be fun to propose an idea that is open to more sexualities.
Our lead is an aunt or stepmom who is taking care of an adult stepchild or relative for summer, giving them a job in her personal lab. Once there, she uses them to help with studies and test her inventions. However, she's sort of a no-boundaries person with complete faith inter goodness of others and a "why not" attitude to her inventions.
For example, the first invention could be a pair of X-Ray specs that show someone without their clothing and can even record video. She tests it by telling her relative to describe her nude body and doesn't see any way the device could be used for evil. Another invention could be a pheromone booster. She believes it would harm the validity of the test if her relative used it in her presence and doesn't want to try it on her relative (believing they would have no interest in her and doesn't want to take advantage of them), so she drops him/her off at the mall and sees how many numbers he/she can get with or without the upgrade...not even wondering how smart it is to give a young man or woman something which makes them exponentially more attractive to their preferred gender (while it's not mind control, already easier people might be inviting them into bathrooms for quickies or it might start an unintended following).
The main point though is that the aunt or stepmom completely trusts the person she has testing the stuff and can't fathom them using the items for selfish reasons.
