Audio With Text

I wanna do an audio story, any suggestions or ideas?
If this is your first time with audio, I'd suggest practicing with non erotic fiction first.

A romance/mystery would be great in audio, like those radio shows I used to listen to.

Depends where your talents lie; are you a better writer, or a better reader?

If a better writer, start with submitting some written stories. Then submit some audio versions.

But if you consider yourself more of a voice talent than a writer, pick a story that is already published that you think your voice could enhance. You might want to ask permission from the author, then submit an audio version.

And finally, let us know when you did it! I, for one, would love to hear it....Carney

Is that legal?
Let's say I took the BBC radio show of Star Wars (all 12 chapters), printed out the transcript, and read it all on the Web, isn't that the same as copying a copyrighted story for public reading/listening?

That's why I said to "ask permission from the author" if you didn't notice.

Go HERE and post your willingness to do audio stories.

Oh and perhaps you should look in the forum a bit before starting a new thread. :p

Actually it's not technicaly copyright infringment aslong as there is no commercial gains. So if you made an audio copy of the entire starwars trilogy and posted here i think it would be legal.

If you posted it somewhere that's selling it for money, that's something else.

One thing i would love to make is a colaborative audio story. Using different voices.

Some just start with small jack off stories. If you're a guy, PLEEEZ do that. We are sorely lacking in that dept. Some people hear their own voices differently from others. So you never know. Or you could just start off with a short story or erotic poem. Either way, you'll get plenty of listeners. It is fun to do... :D

I would love to contribute an audio story...I have one or two that would lend themselves really nicely....

I have done professional voice over work. My biggest issue is I lack both the technical savvy and the equipment to do so.

Any one in Melbourne, Australia able to offer some assitance?

Here's a good program for you under the GNU license:
Audacity 1.2.6
Audacity does not contain any adware or spyware.

so i guess no one has any ideas at all then!! Thanx Rydia57 for the only positive contribution... lol

There are plenty of ideas here YIL, all you have to really do is pick one, write a short story on it, and and read it aloud. Like the Poker Story, someone suggested. That would be a great read aloud... from a man or womans point fo view... how bout that?
