Audio submissions

Hello,

Almost 2 weeks ago I submitted 2 audio stories, which are still pending. I was wondering how long does it take to get approved? What is your experience?

I'm not complaining, just looking to get some answers.

Everything seems to be taking a long time to post. Regular stories are going on 7-8 days, for example, instead of the previous three or so. I think illustrated and audio take longer anyway, so they are probably taking even longer now.

The only real way to get an answer is to send a private message to Laurel, who runs the story side of the site. Make sure your private message are enabled (go to User CP (top left), then Edit Options, then click to enable PMs if they aren't already), and then click on the Private Messages link at the top right of a page. Put "Laurel" (sans quotes) in the To: field, and then send your message. I've found the more specific you can be, the more likely Laurel is to respond.

Audio stories only post on certain days, so the normal queue doesn't really apply.

Don't quote me on this, because I've only barely paid attention, but I think it's every other Tuesday when all the audio submissions go live.

The good news is that they tend to get top billing on the new story list when they do, so they get a lot of exposure for the longer wait.
