I was wondering, why do the stories disappear all the time. I think the audio stories are a great part of the site and they should all be kept on. Is there anyway to catalog them so you can always go back to one you like, or is it too much memory, or what? Thanks.

Audio files take a tremendous amount of bandwidth compared to text files. We have to pay for our bandwidth use. Right now, the cost to keep open a large library of audio stories up is prohibitive, as we are a free site and want to continue to be free. However, we've been adding files as we can afford it. You might notice that there's now 2 audio stories up, whereas up until a couple of weeks ago we only had one. Plus, we now have an audio poetry section. So we're doing what we can as we can afford to do it. As part of the site upgrade, we're trying to find a way to have available a large library of audio stories for you folks without sending us to the poorhouse, lol... So stay tuned!

If there was an option to save the audio file to hard disk, we could create our own library and save you the bandwidth. Any chance that might be included in the upgrade?

Also, is there any way to get a copy of an audio file? We can download text files all day long. I miss lstening to the babysitter's story.

I thought it had to be something like that. I totally understand, and hopefully you guys will figure out a way to make it larger. I appreciate the efforts though, thanks again.
