what software do you use to record with? can you edit?

Audacity - you can download it for free, just do a google search.

I haven't tried editing it, and didn't really find a need, personally (unless there was some way to edit out my 'heavy breathing,' hah).

My guess would be do a "free audio editing program" search on google; or ask on the HT section, which is where I believe I originally recieved the advice to get the audacity program.

I do enjoy the audio stories. asian_princess, and SelenaKittyn my favourite authors. I must admit I don't listen to the men reading, men not being my thing. The women here may feel different.

I have a couple of suggestions / comments but not stories ideas so much.

1) the reader enjoying the reading (genuinly or not) really helps. After all it is a performance. OTOH it doesn't have to be perfect.
2) The accompanying text is not so important, but a synopsis is good.
3) I do think that the audio quality has to be good, the phone line is easy to record but not on the ear.

4) .. Video readings?

Hallowed Eve... I learned a trick from a friend.

You record one minute of blank tape and save it. Then you open a new file (which is usually a minute or three, depending on the program). Then you insert the saved blank minute, save that and you have more minutes tacked on to the new file.

Eventually you build up the time. I can email you several empty minutes if you like and see if they will work for you, thus cutting out the time of saving and inserting minutes.

Story of Sounds and Dialouge

How about a story told with nothing but sounds and dialouge?

A women could arrive home late to her waiting husband after a night out with her boyfriend. She could proceed to tell her husband all the graphic details while noisly sucking and slurping on his cock.
