Audience?

I don't write for anyone but myself. I post my stories on Lit to share what I have accomplished. Writing is a pass time for me - a hobby and something I enjoy. I would never ever pay someone to write a story for me that I can do for myself. I have an imagination and I'm pretty sure I can visualize it in words. đź‘ đź‘ đź‘ Kantđź’‹
 
First, I write for myself. I write what I would like to read.
Second, I write to get someone else, like me, off, maybe.
Third, I write what will sell of course.

So, a bit of all three.

But I also write so my mind will be a little bit quiet so I might sleep, unless of course everyone in there goes on vacation. Which they have done on many an occasion.

In no real order, I write because:

- people enjoy it
- the process of writing a story is fun
- seeing the stories grow is rewarding
