Ladies--

How do you accentuate your package? Feeling good on the inside and radiates on the outside. What's your flavor? Are you the earth goddess who showers, dresses, and fuss with the 'do in fifteen minutes flat or are you the polished powerhouse with a fierce suit, flawless makeup, and to-die-for hair? Somewhere in between?

Physically, how do you define your style? It's all good. Celebrate yourself today, ladies. It's a woman's world. (Well, in this thread anyway)LOL

Thanks.

Peace,

daughter

Hair: wash, a bit of mousse and let dry naturally. It is curly and thick and has a mind of it's own.

Face: Eyeliner to accentuate. Lipstick, generally burgundy, mauve or deeper pink tones. Full lips need accentuating as well.

Dress: For work, sweaters and jeans. For play or casual, I like skirts, sweaters with all the appropriate undergarments. Feminine is in !

Accessories: Earrings, necklaces, watch and rings.

Even in jeans, I like to look feminine and confident.

Takes 15 minutes on a regular day, up to an hour if I am planning.

Au Naturale All The Wayyyy

I hardly ever where makeup anymore, usually only if I'm going out somewhere special (besides makeup makes me break out). When I do where makeup I use very natural tones like tans and browns. There's not much I can do with my hair besides pull it back or up, it's all one length and down to my ass so even pulling it up is difficult unless it's a french braid. As for cloths, I like to be comfortable so big and cozy is my way. :)

My dad used to tell me I had natural beauty, it stuck with me...I use very little makeup on an everyday basis. Mascara and lipgloss. I always have something on my lips..lipstick, lipgloss or just plain chapstick. My hair is very long, usually just wash and go. It takes a very long time to curl it so I rarely do it. I wear jeans and sweaters but I do have a few 'going out dresses'.

I say it takes me about 10-15min to get ready for a normal day. :)

On a regular day, I wash and blow dry my hair. It is short and tends to stick up if I don't

When I go out I put on makeup.

Usually I wear jeans and sweaters, sometimes dresses.

On a normal day I am ready in 15 min. When I am going out up to 45 min.

I use very little makeup usually. My hair is fairly short and I like it that way. Much less work. I wear skirts and sweaters to teach, and jeans almost every other time. I went out for New Years and had to do the whole construction job on myself. It took a long time. I wanted to find the right blend between sophisticated and trampy. It worked. lol. If I did that everyday I would have no life. With little ones running about its hard to be all that glamorous.

I dont wear make up everyday. I am a jump in the shower, blow dry the bangs, and get ready for the day type person. Shorts and a t-shirt make up my wardrobe for when I am at home. Yes I am a bum,a redneck bum to be exact.

When going out,I put on some foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and some lipstick. I like to highlight my eyes.

On a side note, when I was a teen here in the south,I was into the white make up,black eyeliner, red lipstick phase. You know like the asian women used to put it on? Freaked out everyone at the time. I mean how many asian looking rednecks do you know? Well one, since you now know me. ;)

It takes about 10-15 to get ready.

I was once told there was something

very primal about me.

I took it as the compliment it was. I've worn locks since '95. I was very focused on my spiritual path at the time(locks are associated with ascension and spiritual growth) and preferring natural ways, this was a logical change for me. For the first time in my life, I felt good about my hair and my looks.

I've had some challenges with my hair, but none of the madness I experienced prior to growing my hair naturally. Who knew my natural hair was soft and manageable? I thought being a slave to processing, curling, cutting was the way it was suppose to be. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaase. :)

My hair is a few inches past my shoulders. I have it professionally styled every six weeks so I'm not sporting the total au naturale look(like Lauryn Hill). I wear little makeup. Inherited my mother's youthful genes and sensibility. I don't recall the woman wearing any makeup till after 30, and even today she doesn't wear foundation.

I like to fill in my brows, ocassionally add some mascara. I have my dad's mouth. Nice shape, I'm told. I like lipstick, earthtones. Never red. I don't look sexy in just silly. I go with some deeper corals or mauves to please my fella who does appreciate a nice shade of red. When going somewhere special, I don the whole get up from foundation to blush.

I dress very casually to work. My favorite clothes are my funky ethnic prints. Oh yeah, met my brooksbrother man wearin' a mean zig, zag, screaming burnt orange, full length dress. I'm au naturale, feminine and I do like to feel sexy. Give me skirts and dresses when I want to be sassy. I'll wear clingy, heels, and hose, too when the mood hits me.

On an average day, I shower and dress in 15 minutes. 10 of that is in the shower. My hair is carefree. At best, I have to rub some jojoba oil through it. Touch up the brows, quick swipe of lipstick and I'm outta here.

Peace,

daughter

I love being a man. Take a shower in the morning and I am good to go for the rest of the day, unless it is hot and humid, then I might need to repeat the shower.

Hair messed up? Put on a hat.

That's all folks.

But then I still have to wait around for you know who to get ready. We can never just decide to go someplace, jump in the car and go.

Nope.

What?
No, not an earth goddess.

I shower everyday, my hair drips dry. I wear clothing.
It takes me an hour to get ready.

Hair:Towel dry, and shake it like a dog.:D
Makeup: Foundation, Lipstick (wipe half of it off), Eyeshadow(pink)
Clothes: For work, Black pants, white button up, ugly tie. For home, Jeans and a t-shirt. For play: Jeans and a pretty bra(around the house):p .
Accessories: One ring(Mickey Mouse):D , One necklace( a little heart):), both silver. Hey, I'm enjoying my youth while it lasts.
Takes me fifteen min.'s to get ready (shower included), if I'm not being a lazy ass, like I am now.

I have some cool shit in my closet too from my wilder day's. I'll wear them again once I'm off this boring streak.:D

yes you do have natural beauty...mmmmm

totally natural

i want to be free to be me
no makeup, ever
in fact i get headaches from most fake scents
no shaving the pits, legs, or bush
let the pheremones live

I wear makeup. I love it. I use the gel stuff cause I like the transparent stuff. Lipsticks are usually blue reds and pinks cause I am so fair. My hair is long I like it that way. It grows really fast. Just now I am growing out my hair painting. Red streaks in blonde. I long being pampered so have my brows and legs waxed regularly. Pedicures are another indulgence because the lady is just so damn good at it. I generally wear skirts more then jeans. I have great legs and like showing them off. When I work I am in scrubs in OR then on rounds. My office appointments I wear the dresses and skirts or really nice slacks. My hair is usually up at work either french braided or in a twist. At home it is down and pretty wild as it has a lot of wave to it.

Oh, good question!

Hmm... I'm pretty natural. I swear that I can feel makeup on my face, so I don't wear any unless I go out on the town. My hair is a pixie cut, so it's just wash-and-let-dry. I don't wear any jewlery except my silver hoops, which I haven't taken out since 1999. I wear chapstick because my lips chap easily in this arid country. I wear jeans and a sweater in the winter, and cut-offs and a T-shirt in the summer. I love my Teva sandals, I refuse to wear heels. Perfume gives me a headache unless it's a really soft oil-based sent, like rain or sandalwood. None of that sickeningly sweet vanilla/peach/strawberry crap. I can't even sit next to a person with that kind of perfume on without getting nauseaus (I think I'm hypersensitive to it). I don't dye my hair, though I should because I'm getting gray! At my age! I'm not supposed to get gray until I hit 30 or something!

Ah, I feelin' you hear, Myst. I like amber, myrrh. I don't think I've worn perfume since my early 20s. I love oils. A subtle hint. If I can smell you before I'm standing next to you, it's too much.

Glad you joined us.

Peace,

daughter

Unfortunately my hair is so curly that I'm unable to wash-n-go. Damnit. I wish I had wash-n-go hair. I hot oil it once every two weeks, and I slap some conditioning gel in it every day when I wash it.

If I'm bored and I have spare time before work, I'll experiment and put my hair in different styles. If I don't feel like it, I'll air dry it loose or tie it back. It was fun having it short for awhile, but now I'm growing it out and it's at the awkward phase. I can't do any of the cute stuff I did with it when it was short and it's not long enough to do anything else with. Blah. By spring I'll be long haired again :)

Make up is usually powder and liner/mascara. I love eyeliner. It makes my eyes look bigger and makes them stand out. Sometimes I get bored and fuck around with different shadow colors and styles. If I get a zit or if I have a bout with insomnia I'll wear some foundation to cover up the zit or circles.

I guess my main thing is eye make up.

I rarely wear lipstick. It bugs the hell out of me to have it on and I end up chewing it off.:D

i'm with angel on the wishing for wash-and-go. my hair is... annoying... because it's wavy at the bottom but straight at the top, so if i just leave it as is it looks terrible. my answer to that used to be to pull it into a pony tail when it was still wet but i've come to realize that is a very unflattering style.
i shower and blowdry my hair in the morning, that takes about 30 minutes. i wear lotion for a scent, i'm very sensative to perfumes. i rarely wear makeup, but when i do it's something to highlight my eyes. lipstick is fun and looks nice but i chew it off pretty quickly.
the funny thing is that when i'm getting dolled up for a night on the town i don't do much differently. maybe different colors for the make up, but i never wear much more than eyeshadow, mascara and liner.
as for clothes, usually just a jeans and t-shirt girl. sometimes sweaters or skirts or whatever. it all depends on the mood.

I forgot about the clothes. They're usually whatever is laying around that's clean. Most of my clothes consist of navy or black shirts and jeans. I just throw on something clean that matches.

I -am- a shoe fiend though. I think I have more shoes and sneakers than I do clothes.

Unless I'm working. Since I work in Jewelry I don't have to wear a smock, so I have to look halfway preppy/neat. I can't wear my hip huggers and punky shirts. I usually wear my black bellbottom stretch pants or khakis and a sweater.

As for accessories, I have rings on almost every finger and my watch, I have one chain and a bunch of bracelets. (comes from working in the damn jewelry dept.) Usually I stick with the chain which I never take off and the rings which I feel odd if I'm not wearing them. Bracelets are just for when I'm wearing a sleevless dress shirt, for work otherwise I feel bare.

My style is rather simple :

Hair ... I simply wash and apply some hair serum to control it ... some what. I have long thick wavy hair so it has a mind of its own .. :)

No make up ... The only thing I put on is my strawberry flavored lip balm and that is simply it.

My clothes ... always casual ... shorts - tshirts & sandlas during the summer & spring and winter time its time for jeans , long sleeves & my black docs'. :)

Perfume ... depends on my moods. ;)

I like to be simple and casual

Makeup... light eyeliner, mascara and blush, rare lipstick
I do have to blowdry and style my hair every day, but it only takes 10 minutes.
No perfume... gives me a headache! ugh
I usually wear ear rings and sometimes a necklace
For work: uniform and a lab coat
For everywhere else: Jeans or shorts and a top of some type
Comfortable shoes!!! I look for pretty shoes, but if they hurt, I don't buy them.

I always try to look feminine and still be casual and comfortable. I can usually be ready to go out the door within 45 minutes if I have to start with a shower. Obviously, it takes far less time if I'm just changing later in the day. :)
