Inspired by a series of polls I found on another site.
1) The intention of the pollster seemed to be, if you look at whatever counts as your "population of potential partners" (gender and age range, so "young men" or "older women", etc.), how many of those people would you estimate are "attractive" to you?
So I am now asking you this.
2) Now, one interesting reply that popped up in the poll was the complaint "I cannot answer this without having seen every single person in that group first".
So second question is, was that also YOUR first reflex? Or do you feel you got a pretty good grasp of that group, collectively, based on your life experience, and you can make a call based on that?
Fun fact: in the poll, the complaint seemed to come exclusively regarding women (given the site's demographics, I wager mostly from lesbians and trans men).
Regarding men, absolutely nobody had that complaint, and everyone was comfortable risking a collective estimate.
