The whole package.

Wit and sensitivity are the two main things, a logical intelligent post on a more serious subject. The AV - doesn't really make much difference, it's an expression by the poster and unless you know them you can't tell whether it was chosen for sarcasm, humour, vanity, artistic reasons or whatever so tend to ignore them to a large extent.

I think the mental attraction is everything. I am certainly not new to Lit, But I find that I am much more reserved here on the boards then...say in Chat with people I have come to know. I'm a bit shy coming out of the gate, so to speak.

I find this process much more intriguing, slowly unfolding, getting to know people through topics and conversations here, broader then the usual, mind reeling (j/k)Chat messages.

What draws you to another person here?

Mostly what they say in a number of posts.

Is it something as simple as someone’s AV? No, although if it is a real life pic I may be physically attracted.

The way they respond to threads? Mostly.

Witty banter? Not necessarily; what I look for is someone who thinks the way I do on important issues.

Sexual innuendos? Not really, that comes later and is secondary to whether I think they are compatible with me. Someone who is comfortable with their sexuality is a bonus, and someone who likes what I like sexually is a grand prize, but if we aren't on the same wavelength, such as how we view life, politics, etc., then I am not going to be drawn to them.

Of course, it helps if they are close and single.

I'm attracted big time to the poster's responses, both with serious topics and humorous ones. There are several here that I always check out (whether or not I like the topic) just because they have opened the thread. Avs are a good way to "indentify" your favorites (right now though, I'm having an "av identity crisis!), but is not what catches my eye (although without mentioning names, there are a few that quite intrigue me!).

Oh... and of course I love ducks!! QUACK!

The AV may get my attention first, but that's only the beginning.

I find poster's with witty, funny, intelligent comments attract me more than the one's who mainly post political/debate/deep thought threads.

I have to be able to play around with them, and interract on a fairly regular basis. Also it doesn't hurt a bit if they think I'm attractive too.

Usually the flirty, but not too serious or vulgar posters get my second glances.

Humor is my Number One Attracting-thingie. Zing me with a bad pun and I'm pretty much yours (which is sooo why foxinsox is zooming up the list!!).

I love a sense of mischief and playfulness. A passion for something (which doesn't have to be the same as mine, though) has to be there. After all, if you can't find a passion about something, how could you be fun in bed, huh?
