CBS Seeks Survivor III Applicants

LOS ANGELES (AP) - CBS is looking
for a few good survivors.

The network announced Wednesday
it is accepting applications for future
installments of ``Survivor.'' CBS
planned to make application forms
available on its Web site.

The third version of the reality show
will air this fall, again set in a remote
area and with a $1 million prize for
the winning contestant among 16
players.

Applicants must submit a three-minute videotape demonstrating why
they believe they can prevail in the game, CBS said. The deadline is
April 13.

After paring down the submissions, producers will interview at least 800
semifinalists in 16 U.S. cities. About four dozen people will be invited to
attend final auditions in Los Angeles.

``Survivor: The Australian Outback,'' airing Thursday nights, is one of
the most-watched shows on television and helped CBS notch a ratings
win last week during the important February sweeps.

I would rather not. I would get kicked off pretty quickly I think and only net about $5k at the most. I could make a LOT more than that just hanging round here and working. hehe
