Another observation
(speaking from my own experience, which might be of use to those n00bs who read these and think of joining, hopefully:


But for 8 or so posters, I wouldn't trust the opinion of those who post regularly in the Blurt thread. They're a tight-net community who maintain friendships past this board, they often hold long term grudges and tend to cover for their friends even in the face of the most outrageous behaviors.

When I was rel. new to the board I was advised (or it was even demanded of me) to stay away from and stop posting with X, Y and Z, because they are the scummiest people the board has ever seen and that I will end up in deep trouble.

I don't know how X, Y or Z behave past this board nor do I care. But guess what?
As far as forum activity is concerned, X, Y and Z didn't bother much about me and treated me with respect,
-- whereas those who advised me against them either started cyberstalking me and other posters, or encouraged the most disgusting racist and sleazy cyberstalking that I ever saw.
