Attention Kindle Fire Experts

I just received a kindle fire hd for Christmas. I am having trouble connection to my wifi which i am currently using for all my other computers. I am also having the same issue with my ipod. Try restarting the router and reentering the password. You may also want to check how many devices are trying to use it at the same time, could be overloaded.

I'd try changing the router password next if that fails but that can be tricky if you are using a router from your ISP.

Likewise, got a KF for Christmas, but my WiFi connected just fine on the first try.

How many devices connect to your Router? Mine has a limit of eight devices/channel (it has two channels for a total of sixteen devices) If you have TVs, Blue-rays, phones, laptops, tablets, desktops, and other sundry devices that connect to your WiFi, you may have maxed out the available connections and need a more capable router.
