It is quite evident to me that we have far more readers of chyoo stories than we do authors. While I wish there were more potential contributors to my stories and others, I don't think this particular set of circumstances is going to change anytime soon.

So, I have a propsal to interested readers. If you find that there is a story and thread that you like, and would like to see something in particular happen in that story, please contact the author, and write down your request as to what you'd like to see happen next. Try to be as detailed as is possible, and open to revisions, just as if you were writing a thread to add to the story.

I post this in the hope that more readers will become involved in story development. So, readers, let's hear your suggestions!

What comes to mind almost immeadiatly is a follow up to your latest thread in "Weekend". The thread entitled "Cathy's coming" is great. I'd like to see where you take it.

I'd like to see more of what happens in A boy at a all girls school in the Multiple Relationships Training threads. Some hot threesomes and moresomes would be grand. If you can get students and teachers all in a big orgy, I'd read it too. Hehe. That is the area of that story I'd like to see explored a bit.

In Wishful Thinking, the section where the amulet gets stolen is a good one. More mysterious wishes and conflict over possession of Amina's amulet.

Anything in The Choices We Make. I think this is a fabulous story, but it has languished for a long time. Few stories have such a broad range of options, and as much depth in most of those options. The freewheeling nature of high school romances and the nicely defined characters make this a real tour de force. Specifically, I'd like to see more of going to the concert with Trish, more with Fi or Kelly, and more exploration of the Rebecca-Kat threesome (I so want those three to make it a long-term relationship -- vested interest).

+1 for (happy, joyous, cheerful) orgy scenes!

I was hoping someone's interest would be piqued by the scene and see where Cathy takes it, since she has the initiative and I don't have as good a sense of where she'd go from here.

My common problem with only being able to see a scene at a time...

OK, I've given a try for a follow-up... escalate, escalate, escalate.

Any authors want to see if they can develop it into a riot? ;)

You know, I always thought that this is what the author threads should have been used for. Readers posting thread ideas and noting what direction of the stories they liked. Too bad it never really ended up that way. I haven't read most of these stories but would be willing to give it a try once Chyoo starts working again. Oh and I will add to my story too if I can figure out where I was going with that storyline.

I have a question. I'm new, by the way (Hi everyone!)

I recently submitted a story and added a few branches to it, The story was approved and I am anxious for all of you to have some fun helping it develop. However, I have a problem.

When I go in to check the story, I can find it through my home page. But it doesn't show up when I enter a keyword search, or show up anywhere on the master list under new stories. As a result, I doubt anybody else but me can find it. Whats up with that?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What's the name of the story and what's your CHYOO user ID?

The title is: Ravaged at Work. My username is the same as this one-rfriverrat.
Are you sure it has been approved?

You can give us a link to it...

Thanks for asking a good question. I went back and checked and discovered the approval status is still PENDING. OOPS! I guess I should have checked that first. Sorry!

However, that brings up another question. How long does approval take, normally? I'm kind of eager for the story to get into the system.

Again, thanks!

Here is the box info that comes up at my home page. According to that, it shows 6 threads approved (even though my story says PENDING) and 14 views. But if the story isn't approved and in the master listing, how can it have 14 views. So what does all that mean to us neophites. I'm confused!

It is approved now.

First of all, this was submitted yesterday. It can take anywhere from a day to a couple weeks to get approved. It all depends on how actively the moderators are checking. I sometimes go several days or even a week without looking at pending stories.

Oh, foreign language stories take longer to get approved.

Karma and Stories aren't used.

Threads Approved is how many of your threads have been approved by the editor of the stories you've written for, both your stories and others. Since you've written all for your own story, you automatically approved your own threads. These are approved by you, even though the moderators hadn't approved the entire story.

Threads to Approve is how many threads from other people are in your stories and are pending approval.

I believe that Editor Rating/Votes is the average rating and total number of votes your threads have received in your own stories. I not quite sure which votes count as editor votes.

Writer Rating/Votes is the average rating and total number of votes your threads in other people's stories have received.

Total Views is how many times your threads have been read.

The number given for Threads Approved is a link to the member.thread.list, which lists all your threads in a table. It is the same as clicking on the Threads link in the top banner.

The number given for Threads to Approve is a link to the member.thread.approve_list, which lists all pending threads in your stories.

Is this info in the CHYOO FAQ, folks?

Oh, some of your questions may be answered in the CHYOO FAQ. Us new moderators didn't have access to make a proper FAQ, but we made a story into a FAQ. Here is the CHYOO FAQ. This should help you with many questions.

I not quite sure which votes count as editor votes
I'm not sure myself, but it seems that if you are the editor (or the author?) of a story and you receive a vote for one of your threads, the vote counts as editor vote.

Does anyone happen to know why the 'Stories' count stopped working?

For anyone that is interested in adding a thread to this section, click Multiple Relationships Training Appointment or choose options in order 3 1 1 2 1 1

So far in the story, the main character has had a nude swimming lesson, had sex with his best girl friend, learnt that the school requires nudity and sexual activity in some classes, and that they encourage relationships with different girls.

Back on the original theme of the thread, story development suggestions --

Torg, I think Dorm Life needs an international floor. There could be a mix of naïve newcomers, young people far from home cutting loose, a few people trying to run up their score (or run relationships in parallel) with the locals, some lonely souls, and some nice, interesting characters. I guess the start of school is probably the wrong time for a World Cup party, but maybe Bob Marley, the world's favorite musician?

With 12 floors in Donnybrook Hall, there actually could be quite a number of theme floors.

Following the "RA" thread, it sounds like our protagonist Bryan and his friend Scott may have landed on the 'party' floor, if the Resident Assistant is any indication. Poor, poor freshmen...

Maybe a 4th option off the introduction might give some more options for development. Or which party costumes the guys choose could be a good kicking off point for different directions.

With the authors' consent or participation, I can easily imagine cameos or cross-overs with Imhotep's "Weekend in an All Girls Dorm" if things develop the right way. Competitive, athletic Marcie (described toward the end) has already escaped to do a cross-over sequence in Get Me To The Church On Time, and maybe a little earlier in her history, could show up here.

I would be happy to see Cathy Martin from AaronWebster's 7 Little College Girls pay a visit between her year in England and her later return to Albion in Working Girls.

I would be happy to give my consent so long as any characters are true as written in "Weekend".

That would be cool. A thread in Dorm Life could deal with the viewpoint of the DL characters, and a thread in Weekend could have the same events from the viewpoint of the Weekend characters.

I was thinking of perhaps a party with college students from different schools.

Looks like the crossover party has started cooking.

Thanks all.
