Attention Authors

Sounds interesting. Could be a lot of work though, but a bit of healthy competition won't go amiss.

:D This looks like fun. Are you going to advertise it on the homepage?

Yeah...it's announced on the front page in the little daily notes section.

You're including the Non-English category? You kids are hardcore! I bow to you...

going global?

I often go ballistic.

In an even-handed and reasoned way, I hasted to [fucking] add ...

LOL

Hardcore would be sticking the collaboration and novels categories back in. The foreign language thing would be incredibly easy to accomplish even if one doesn't speak a foreign language. Ightray?

Gee KM

I find it pretty fucking hardcore just to attempt to write 26 well crafted stories before the end of the year.

I guess that's just me.

MP

Really? I don't think it's that hardcore to write 26 well crafted stories in a year. Unless you're insinuating that my stories are only mediocrely crafted. LOL. The foreign language thing is a bit of a puzzle, since I only type a few letters a minute in Korean. Of course, I'll have to write the story first. I'm sure if it were translated into English it would be run of the mill boring.

Ack, who am I going to find to proofread it?????? Whisper? You wouldn't be Korean by chance?

Anyway MP dahling. I'm shocked that you didn't jump right on the most immediately obvious collective collaboration.

Does these stories have to be high quality or just merely decent lentght or what?

should an nonwriter even bother tring, is it going to be like voted on results orjust the scoring system of so many points per story.

i read the other thread but those are still unclear to me

From the rules post:

There is no other criteria for the eligibility of stories based on any subjective issues of quality or content. If a story is accepted and posted by Literotica, it is eligible for the contest. Period.

Good luck getting Laurel to accept a 3 line story.

I am just using that as an example, I don't plan on it but if it was accepted would it get a point for the contest

and what if everyone submits the same number of stories how are winners decided then?

Once more for the Canadian in the CHEAP SEATS:

Then we put them into a pit with sharp objects and they fight to the death.

Ok so yet again i still have made myself unclear

say that there are 5 prizes for this contest.

what happens if you have 25 people who enter submit all 26 stories each thus all being equal.

will more prizes be added or is it going to be based on the rating/voting scores of the stories to determine the top 5 people even though all 25 submit the exact same amount of stories?

See what I am trying to figure out is this going to basically end up being a public elitest contest that only the master wrtiers stand a chance or is it goign to be a contest were amateur and poorer writer could actually stand a chance.

If the ties are decided the rating/voting then it is an elitest contest that means that everyone who is not a good writer should not even bother

Cause as it looks now that it is just a contest for the popular people

Hey Todd, have you been sleeping with Fred H?

When several people have like reached 15 stories out of 25 categories, maybe this will seem worth obsessing about.

Dillinger, your last two icons remind me of some sort of pseudo-masochistic vagina.

I just want to know wherther its worth my time to bother trying to write or if its the "Deborah, MP, Killer Muffin, Dillinger, WS" Elitist group and not bother too even try.

I mean why waste my time to write 26 storys, only to be compared to the "elitist" group just doesn't seem worth it to me.

I think we should have a competition to see who's the best at pinning a tail onto the donkey's ass.

Todd, speaking of "Survivor" you remind me of Kelly claiming he can still win the one million bucks.

What kind of donkey?
Will all tails be of the same length?
What if we ALL pin in the EXACT SAME spot on the donkey's ass?

MP ;)

So as I thought, This is merely a contest for the elitest, I will wait for the contest that everyone else can join in at
