These have been pointed out to me thusfar:

*There are three Millenium Falcon type spacecraft in the port Anakin and Amidala pass through.

*When Anakin kills the Tusken Raiders Yoda hears Qui Gon's voice say, "No! Ani!"

Can't vouch for their accuracy.

Any others?

that sounds like Qui-gon in that scene. I didn't see the Falcons, they have a page started at theforce.net covering the eastereggs.

Look under the episode 2 section.

When the Jedi first persue the first bounty hunter into the bar there are 3 vid-screens in the background. The Star Wars Pod Racer video game is playing on the left one.

Episode 2 blew too much to have me hunting for anything.

Hey Dixon, was it the acting that sucked? or the really bad acting?

This would not surprise my The Falcon was supposed to be a very old freighter that ahd been heavily modified by Lando and then by Han. In the books they talk about how rare the falcon is everyonce in a while because it is so old. I think the name of the falcon's type is a YT-1300 and yes I know I am a star wars geek.

The acting was journeyman, not good, but not bad.Wasshisname playing Anakin was directed to play snotty, a bad choice by Lucas. And Portman is given nothing in the text that supports her "I love you" revelation. Blame Lucas. And it does say something that the film soars whenever Christopher Lee is speaking. Or standing still, for that matter. There truly are people who were born to be on camera.

I enjoyed the movie, but not as a lone experience. You have to watch it with the other films firmly esconsed in your brain, because that's when the mythos resonates. I believe that after the third film comes out even Episode I will seem better. The movies need each other like a hungry British sailor needs to snap a Dodo neck.

You are not alone my friend, for I too knew these facts. Yes, the old freighter was indeed heavily modified. Back when Han won the sabecc game against Lando it was even considered old. Lando had been secretly upgrading the Falcon for himself among his stock of various ships and was shocked to hell when Han picked it. He said something along the lines of, "Why don't you choose one of the newer models?" It's because the perticular model is so rare that the infamous Falcon is recognizable on sight to most people in the Star Wars universe.

I don't think I noticed anything that could be called Easter Eggs. I did see and hear a few things that hearkened to some of the earlier movies and were pretty neatly-done parallels, but I don't think those count.

I enjoyed the original series immensely. They DID stand alone but were made more powerful as they went along, building one atop the other.

This second trilogy will appear even weaker as time goes on and the stilted acting shrinks onto the small screen.

In several of the Star Wars books they try and find another YT-1300 in order to fake the falcon and they only ever fine on once, in one of the X-wing books I think. All the other times they have to use a slightly different model and them make it look like a YT-1300.

With how well that ship performs, you'd think there would have been at least a few people trying to copy it wouldn't you? The supply is low, but there's got to be some demand...I wonder why they never prodeuced more...hmm
