Attachment Change?

Why do all attachments open as new windows now? Is this due to the changes on the weekend? Can it be changed back some how on the options?

Attachments have always opened in a new window for me -- and I personally prefer it that way -- but that is proably a function of the "vBulletin 3 Default" skin I've used since the last upgrade a couple of years ago.

Try a couple of different skins until you find one that behaves the way you want, and/or PM Manu with a "bug report."

If you have Firefox, you can install an add-on/extension called "Tab Mix Plus" that has a variety of functions, including a really good session manager.

One of the options is to force links to open in the same tab or window. You can also put an option on the right-click menu for the link to either open in the current tab/window or a new tab/window. There are other options, too, like having links open in the tab next to the current one, and lots of alternatives for which tab/window the is focused on when a new one is opened.

Attachments have always opened in a new window for me, too. However, because of Firefox and Tab Mix Plus, I currently have them opening in a new tab in the current window, instead of opening in a completely new window.
