The only way I know to do it is host the pic elsewhere, then post the link.

The first response above confirms what I arrived at through trial and error.

If it's on another site, and visible to the public, you can paste the url into a message here, and the recipient of the message will be able to access it via the link.

Even if it's on another site, if it is visible to only you or others who are logged-into that site, you can still paste the url into a message here, but the recipient won't be able to access the link.

The key, I think, is that it must be publicly visible elsewhere. I'm not a user of imgur.com, but that seems to be the most popular source of pictures for users of literotica.

As you've already found out, you can't just copy it from the photo album on the hard drive of your device and paste it on this site anywhere.
