if you are using an email client (like Outlook or Pegasus or something) go in and make the connection timeout longer (I only know how to do it with Pegasus, Outlook gave me a headache, so I got rid of it), but that might help. Not sure what to tell you otherwise, someone here should be ale to tell you more though. Hope you get it worked out.
Thanks- it seems to be fixed now. The att site said they'd had problems with the webmail but the engineers had fixed it. When the engineers fixed it is when my problems STARTED! LOL
