That *might* be a possibility for me, depending on how my accumulating money to move goes. If I've managed enough for that (and to pay my '07 taxes), I definitely would like the chance to give ADR a hug in person - and probably the rest of ya, too. It's "only" a four-hour (or so) drive.

We just need dates from Desert Rose and you can take it from there.

I find that so many eating or drinking places are so loud you can't really feel cozy and talk yanno? I've love to just be able to eat drink and talk for a while with folks.

It will be the first weekend in May (Saturday, Sunday, Monday... whatever those dates are) and I wish I'd known you were starting this thread. I would've put money on it and won, because... I toldja. ;-)

My mistake... May 9 thru 12. The second weekend in May.

Ok so May 9th 10th 11th and 12th. I'll see what is going on that weekend. 1763 might be doing something but those of us under 40 (or 21 for that matter) wouldn't be able to attend. Whippersnappers holds their events each third Friday of the month so that is out. I'll contact one of the locals to see if there is anything happening. As far of local places to 'chill'- there is The Highlander (a lifestyle friendly bar) which has a really cool patio and game room area, however it has been known to get really loud at times. There are few 'places' that are really quiet on a weekend night, but I'll start looking about to find something.


Do any of you guys have an particualr requests for the weekend? Things in particular that you will want to do or see?

The only problem I would see why I wouldn't be able to make it, is because Mother's Day is that Saturday and that's also my mother's birthday. *sighs* Maybe I can figure something out between now and then.
