Could anyone write a story based on the girlfriend visiting a car mechanic to get her car seen too?

My own girlfriend has recently been to visit a garage on a couple of occassions and admitted having a crush on the man who has been fixing her car. She has become quite friendly, going into the office part of the garage and making herself a coffee. Chatting to the man and being eyed up by the other men.

There is quite a good premise for a story here I think.

I know right? I realize (thank you and thank you lovecraft and I know I'm forgetting someone) that I'm one of the dicks of the Story Ideas forums but seriously I have a hard time not getting annoyed when someone asks for stuff that's 101 porn with no improvements. Not that the classics aren't good, I'm not above the girl who absolutely needs to pass Chemistry and descides to see if her professor understands what happens when Chemical XX and XY interact causing an explosive system that strips the electrons off both atoms leaving them bare and eager to find new partners. I just don't pretend it's original and instead pick a detail or a kink I think would be fun.

Well as another dick in this forum(well pretty much if its non con related) I agree with your initial "Aw come on that stuff is everywhere" reaction.

But there is something to be said for paying homage to the classics. The site we're on is built on cliches like that and if there is one thing I have learned here(in addition to poking the LW crowd is almost a natural high) is that readers here can read the same trope over and over and still be cool with it.

Because man, if I see one more "mistaken identity at a costume party" Halloween story....

But seriously the classics are still the classics and I think many of us are guilty of taking our shot at them and seeing what we can do.

I say this of course with my last story that should post soon being about a professor who catches a coed cheating and brings her home for him and his wife to play with in exchange for not ratting her out.

* OK, female customer: The garage specializes in mob cars and she's mistaken for a moll -- the male mechanic tries to avoid her because he thinks she belongs to a capo
* OK, ordinary female customer and male mechanic, but her seduction so distracts him that he neglects a safety check, and when she drives off, the car blows up, kablooey
* She's a physicist; she has trouble with an equation; she goes to a quantum mechanic
