Strangely, the list doesn't show a figure for London as a whole, but it shows a figure for one borough only, Westminster. I suspect that if the bookings for civil partnerships were added up for all the 32 boroughs, then the figure would be a whole lot different.

Not only does London have the largest gay & lesbian population of the cities in the UK, but the largest of the cities in Europe.
