I'm not sure where to post this one. I was begrudgingly captivatd by incest/taboo, and wrote many stories in that cat. But the problem I'm finding is the closure. The puritans are against me introducing non-relatives into the mix to have a believable ending, yet they want an ending. I mean in incest, what ending can there be other than a third party being involved? Maybe I found the balance in my Stormy series, which may have been a 'stroke' of lightning.

I am currently writing a new incest series which may be my last, but I think I'll move on to other projects after this. Incest may gather lots of votes, but it can drive an author crazy!

Who's writing the story, you or the puritans? However, I think I agree with them, you're writing fiction -- erotic fantasy to be precise -- and in fantiasies, Happily ever after is always possible.

FWIW, it can happen in real-life as well -- My Aunt and Uncle were also my aunt and second cousin (her first cousin) and they were happily (and legally) married for forty plus years before the passed on peacefuly of old age.

This is Literotica. Don't let the puritans tell you what to do or write. Maybe you can expand to in-laws or step-relatives. It isn't legally incest, but it might be taboo.

Box, I think he meant purists, as in "hardcore incest fans" rather than Puritans, as in the colonists or their spiritual descendants.

You're probably right but, purists or Puritans, we write here for fun. Nobody should let either group dictate what to write. Laurel and Manu can, at least they can tell us what not to write, but nobody else has anything to say about it.
