#AssaultAtSpingValleyHigh

Number one hashtag on the Twittah yesterday was #AssaultAtSpringValleyHigh.

A high school resource officer power-slammed a 15 year old girl for not movin' fast enought. He then arrested her.

She was black, so of course she didn't get a side trip to Burger King on the way to jail.

Turns out the school cop has a history of similar rage episodes.

He's also an amateur powerlifter and the school football team's strength coach. He says he's never failed a steroid test too.

(Later he admitted he'd never actually been tested for steroids).

You don't understand black culture. In the hood assault is foreplay.

Spring Valley High. Sweet Valley High is a tweeny romance novella series.

Cool. When all the nigglettes make school impossible we wont like THAT either.

Back in 1988 the teachers demanded that the state cease managing truancy, and it happened. Truancy ceased to be something the Department of Health and Rehab fucked with. Took about a week before the teachers went assclown crazy. Previously HRS had the authority to take junior assholes into custody and throw them in jail. Jail is an immediate cure for school phobia once the delinquents kick your tender ass out at the jail.

Cops still won't drop charges against student who filmed the beatdown.

At his press conference announcing the firing of Deputy Fields, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said that he had not had any discussions to drop charges against Kenny or the student assaulted by Fields, pointing to language used by Kenny as being disruptive towards the class. Bizarrely, as CBS reports, Lott also “commended the students who recorded the incident, saying he encouraged citizens to record authorities and bring it to his attention if they think something is wrong.”

If found guilty, Kenny faces a fine of up to $1,000 or a jail sentence of no more than 90 days.

Lott also blamed Kenny’s classmate for starting the whole commotion and ensuing national uproar. “This whole incident [was] started by this student. She is responsible for initiating this action. There is some responsibility that falls on her,” Lott said during today’s press conference. (He also oddly pointed to Field’s African-American girlfriend as a reason to be suspicious of charges he’s actions were motivated by racial animus.)

On Tuesday’s night edition of MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes,” the host spoke with Kenny about her account of events. Hayes asked Kenny if her classmate was shouting or loudly disrupting the class. “Not at all,” Kenny replied. “She’s a quiet girl. She doesn’t do anything to anyone in the class. And it was really because she wouldn’t give up her phone. And so our teacher, you know, tried to kick her out of the class.”

“I’ve heard about him,” Kenny explained, referring to former Deputy Fields. “So I wasn’t really surprised because I’ve heard so much about him. So I — before he came to class, I was actually telling them take out your cameras because I feel like this is going to go downhill because I’ve heard so much about him,” she said, pointing to her fellow classmates who Hayes remarked looked stunned into silence in video recordings.

Feilds, Kenny explained, is known as “Officer Slam” at Spring Valley High School. “I have heard he’s in the past slammed pregnant women, teenage girls. He’s known for slamming,” Kenny told Hayes.

Enough is enough.

Police, stop singling out the black kids. Be just as mean and heartless to the white kids. And the Asians. And everyone. After all, in a real police state, the police have all the power, and the people just take it. Even if they're white, rich, straight, Christian, what-have-you.

For that matter, let's throw white people in prison more. Our prison corporations just don't have high enough profit margins. White people are just as good for cheap labor as black people. And they're statistically just as likely, if not more likely, to commit crimes. Lock their sorry criminal asses up!

Police brutality isn't a bad thing. It just needs to be handed out more even-handedly. I don't say this because I'm a bleeding-heart liberal or a politically-correct wimp. I say this because I'm an asshole.

You were one in the '80's, too.

So out of curiosity, when she refused to get up and come with him to the principal's office, what was the correct course of action according to school policy?

Here's one view.

Teacher shows a better way to deal with an uncooperative student — instead of violently abusing them

About 90 minutes ago, I was observed by my principal. A student had his phone out, I asked him quietly to put it away. He told me he couldn’t. I immediately thought about “the situation.” I asked him if he was ok, he told me no and burst into tears. He walked out of the room, I contemplated following him. I was being observed after all. I followed my heart though. The young man’s brother was killed last night. I told him to write me a letter and express all his pain and use whatever words he wanted to express. He did it and I wrote back. It took me two minutes. When he walked out today, he said “I love you, Mrs. Turner-Swift. Thanks for listening to me.” I really only gave him maybe five minutes of my time. That’s all he needed; that’s why I teach!

perfect example as to why you are a "fucking retard"

you just enabled a piece of shit ...
you told the brat that if she acts like an animal she will be rewarded

To get up and go to the office, just like the administrator told her to do. The cop's job was to remove her from the classroom as she was violating state law.

I usta arrest school administrators who refused to let me interview students. The Department of Health had a right to interview anyone, anytime, anywhere, and some principals didn't believe it. So I told them to call the School Superintendant, and if they still refused, I had the deputy arrest them for obstruction. Department of Health is God
