You wouldn't get slapped, but I read the Narnia Chronicles quite a few years ago, and then read them again about 2 months ago. Children's series, I pretty well have read out Barnes and Nobels Jr as well as the Sci Fi / Fantasy, Mystery, and fiction sections of the rest of the store, thanks mostly to a large family, including 42 relatives under 13.
