No, I actually avoid those places. I feel wierd and unhappy.

Carving a pumpkin... I just don't do it anymore. Did it with my son, for obvious reasons, but now don't bother. This way I can keep them through November.
Does your town do trick or treating on Halloween day or do they plan it on another for convenience?

We do it on halloween. I remember one year, the weather was so horrible, they considered postponing it, but they did not.
And I agree, that's what made me think of the question. We just finished carving it.
Luckily, at this point, the kid pretty much did it all!
