Ashley Madison ?

I tried a while back and my impression it was a con. My "contacts" would sign on at 4am (all 3 within minutes of each other) and respond. It was a push to spend more $. But if BR actually met someone, I guess it's possible to meet someone

Has anyone on here ever used or had success with Ashley Madison... Seems like finding people on here from New York area is a bit tough and was considering trying Ashley Madison but was wondering if anyone else on here had used it before.
I have come to find out its a scam to get you to spend money

See i wasn't sure if it was a scam to get more money or it would be a more reliable way to find some one because people are spending money on it...

Ashley Madison, apparently it works really well if your a female wanting to flirt and maybe have cyber lol. 50% are attached, 50% aren't. Will possibly scam your a... if your male though. No different then all the other bs sites. Gotta be careful.

bp

Will probably be better off to go to Backpage.com , escorts section & pay for what u want

It's a scam.

The website operates like a coin-op machine.

Sure, it's free to join, but if you actually want to do anything it costs money.
I joined it once out of curiosity and had someone contact me within the first minute, which is just suspicious.

After letting my account hang there for a while with nobody looking at my profile (although I bet if I paid for anything, they would have), I decided just to delete it.

Well guess what, you can "deactivate" the profiles for free, but to do a full profile deletion, you have to pay money.
Seriously.
It costs you money to delete your account.

Your money and time would be better spend sitting at a slot machine.
At least then you have a slim chance of it paying off and it doesn't cost you anything to cash out.

i do like going to Vegas.... thanks for the feedback guys... will more than likely stay away from it and stick to trying to scour the forums for some New Yorkers :)

its like anything else

you get out of it what you put into it. I did pay and did find someone that was way hot! the longer you go without paying the more you will find out whitch ones are the bots! if you pay right away you will have better luck as you will not get all the fake ones trying to get you to join.

Its not as bad as adult friend finder! that one is total scam but there again im going againced what I just said. I joined and didn't care for what I saw and wow did I get the offers. LOL some of them were so off bace they even side they liked my photo and I didn't even have one!

I don't agree, I have had luck on several sites, both pay and free.
It's what you are doing and looking for. The one I met from AM was okay we just didn't click and I only joined for a month. But I had dates from okcupid, pof and match and a few others. I even met women from Craigslist!
Just keep at it.

Worked for me

Of course being a woman, it's easier, but isn't that true on any site. I did spend a lot of time going thru email and had a couple starts and stops. I did end up meeting someone and it's been perfect. So you get what you put into it too. I did read the profiles and I had said a sense of humor was important. My lover sent me a joke and that's how it started... :)
