As the kids grow...I realize how quickly time passes...

Today I watched my last child go through a rite of growing up...she and her class had their First Communion. It was a beautiful ceremony and I was so proud of her but it made me realize just how fast they all grow.

Twelve years ago this summer, I became a parent...today my youngest had her First Communion...next week, my oldest graduates from high school.

It just made me think...

We worry that they'd never survive when they are young. We try not to be the parents we had, yet part of us trys to be just that so much. We pull our hair out because they drive us crazy. Yet when they are about to leave all we can still see is our baby. God bless them and all the parents that try so hard.
