As I predicted several time this past week, he did what I said he would do...

... based on his MO and history.

He did a dog and pony show to prove to the 2/3s that did not vote for him just how hard he is trying to compromise and as soon as the cameras were off, he turned to the leadership and said basically, "That's nice but I won."

Suddenly, now that he has a Congress that WILL put a bill on his desk, the situation is so dire that he has to act, even though he had two years in which the situation was no less dire in which to act, but was afraid to.

One has to assume, therefore, that the dire straight he is in is that he knows he will not like the bill, on general principle, because it will be bipartisan and contrary to his leftist ideology. He cannot be seen vetoing it, so he acts now, and will act with great generosity, and as he has stated, anything the Congress passes will supersede his faux law and then in 2016, his party can once again run on what Republicans want to take away from the Democrat Party supplicants and wards.

I've seen the needle
And the damage done
A little part of it in everyone
But every junkie's
Like a settin' sun.

Gone, gone, the damage done.

In other related news, Harvard is now quietly using the McNamara strategy to put more invisible boots on the ground in the war he lost due to his intransigent arrogance, only here's the kicker, now in a dire straight, he wants the Republicans to authorize it so that he can get their fingerprints on it so that when the shit hits the fan, his party's next candidate for the office can blame the 'Pubs for the escalation...

Not about to use pen and phone on that one!

The buck would stop on his desk...

2/3 didn't vote for him?

Last time I checked, President Obama got a majority of the votes in the last two presidential elections!

oh, I know, I know, if you include every man, woman and child in America....those too young to vote, too..then you specious assertion is "true". It's not grounded in reality, but hey reality never mattered much to Not-Republicans like you.

One of the few constants in AJ's life is he can spin literally anything as a negative about President Obama.
  • No boots on the ground? Why won't #ThatNegroPresident dooooooo something?!?
  • Boots on the ground? Why is #ThatNegroPresident puttin' our troops at risk?!?

#3

He wants to get his new Attorney General in through the lame-duck Congress.

I saw Rudy Gulianni saying that she would be a good pick and perfectly palatable to the Republican senate. So why the rush? Why taint her, from the outset, with the aura of Harry Reid's corruption? Is he afraid that the new Senate would play the game exactly the way he plays it under Reid's new rules? Just leave her lying on the desk and forget about her?

To Democrats the word compromise means doing things their way.

I know, what a waste of time.

Obama does plenty to put a negative spin on himself, no one needs to do it for him.

And I love how everyone that thinks O sucks as a president has to be racist.

I don;t think he sucks because of his color he sucks because he's a lousy president.

The fact the man was elected, re-elected should take race off the table. At least for anyone but idiots with no better argument

2/3s of the people did not vote in order to send that message.

You are having to dive deeper into your bag of derp with each passing day to delegitimize President Obama's two election victories.

I'm sure you're up to the challenge....making excuses is what glibertarian Not-Republicans such as your self do best.

Karl Rove suppressed the vote.
