it was okay. None of the usualy horrible things that happen to me on my birthday happened.
Granted there was no time for anything to happen. I woke up, went to work at 6:30 am. Got off work at 3:45 and raced across the strip to get to my class at 4:30. Got out of class at 8:00. Finally, got home at 8:30.
Nice things about my birthday:
My husband bought me roses.
My roommate made me a special dinner and also baked my favorite kind of cake, white cake with white icing.
This is my first birthday so far away from the rest of my family. Everyone else I hold dear is in NY.
A bit of good news I got, my best friend back in NY, who has been waiting for 3 years for her bf to propose(He said he would New Years Eve 1999. ) finally realize he was a waste of time. So there is a new single girl back in NY who I am trying to convince to come to Vegas.
