It was an old black and white job.

Once scene I remember didtinctly was Cinderella in the kitchen with her mother and her mother picked up a leather whip and threatened to beat her.

This was probably the first time I saw something like this I think, apart from watching Roots, with slaves getting whipped on every show?

I was fascinated by bondage even at an early age, and totally unaware of any specifically bondage/erotic material.

Still, there were plenty of references in mainstream TV and Movies. We used to watch Sabu movies on Saturday mornings (this would have been late 50's) and I recall one where Sabu rescues a princess who's held captive by some evil fellow.
The princess was very attractively chained to the wall with a very ornate jeweled collar....

There's an old Burt Lancaster film, The Flame and the Arrow, where Virginia Mayo spends considerable time in a collar as well.
