If you can put aside your opinions of my politics and curmudgeonly, swashbuckling forum style, I am in need of an illustrator for a children's book.
A recent medical episode has instilled a sense of urgency as I have previously attempted my own art and even sought out others to assist, all to no avail as my artistic abilities are not sufficient.
My children has asked that I publish the story so they may have printed copies to read to their children and I wish to do so.
I plan to self publish at Lulu.com and purchase enough copies to satisfy them, the cost of an ISBN and promotion on Amazon.com may occur at a later date.
I can offer only credit on the front cover or inside front cover, depending, and a small payment for the effort and of course a copy of the book when completed.
I made an attempt with free clip art and such, so I have a vague idea of what I prefer for both cover art, interior page appearance and illustration, however, none of it is set in stone and I do have appreciation for an artists integrity.
