Miami's first erotic art festival is this weekend. I went over for the day, a nice little trip as long as I don't think about the traffic going over (45 on an interstate...seriously people the correct pedal is on the right!) I was able to escape the mundane of this neck of the woods and immerse myself in a little art. I was surprised by how many excellent pieces were on display, of course there were a few that were sub par but all in all a great exhibit.

Along with the art work there were also demonstrations. I walked in right at the end of the Shibari demo unfortunately. There was body painting which was quite detailed. A pony girl and her mistress put on a brief show as well. I have to say (not that I am biased in anyway) that the best demo was by three of our own Litsters.

Marquis and his girls demonstrated cupping. Our Marquis is quite the showman, involving the audience while never overlooking his beautiful assistants. They were the perfect compliment to his expertise. I'm glad I was able to meet all three of you. It was a complete pleasure to put the faces with the names and to watch you interact.


I managed to take some photographs of the event and with Marquis' permission I have the honor of sharing them. I think I was lucky enough able to capture some of the connection they have to each other. So without further adieu I will let the images speak for themselves.

I was happy to be able to show my support. You're correct, at least in my case 90% of my growth has been through this board. Without having been directed here, I doubt I would know myself as well as I do now. I've found out terms for things that I have done for years without realizing it and added new things that I would never have considered. Even though you can get an impression of people over the internet, you can't really know them until you meet face to face. I'm glad I took the opportunity to meet you, C, and Lo.

Wow that was so cool! Must have been amazing to witness it first hand.

The pictures certainly don't do justice to what was seen in person. There was just enough theatricality to add to the effect of what was going on. Everyones eyes widened a bit when they heard the pop of the alcohol reacting to the flame. When her skin was being pulled into the cup most people moved closer for a better view but some stepped back a little. Nobody could look away though.

Something that should be noted. C stood wrapped head to toe in plastic wrap at the height of a typical Miami day. The demo was on the upper level in front of a wall of windows. It was about 90 outside and inside was cooled with only an industrial portable unit on the lower level (meaning you stepped outside in the shade to cool off.). We spectators were sweating. I can't imagine what she was going through under all of the plastic. She was nothing but smiles afterwards. She's quite a trooper!

I'm glad our performance did not disappoint and that it was worth the drive down. I wish we would have had more time to hang out but hopefully there will be other events in the future that will bring you back down this way.

It was crazy hot being wrapped up in that saran wrap and I think I left a pool of sweat the size of Lake Michigan on that platform, lol.

The thought of a hot day wrapped in saren wrap is enough to make me shudder, I can't imagine how you managed it C.
