Unbeknownst to Kash , the suspect has been incarcerated since May.

Under Patel, new agents taking a fresh look at the case found what broke the case - it had been lying in the files in plain sight, but ignored.

It was not new information that brought this case to an arrest. Just FBI agents being forced to do their jobs for once.
