When i first started dating my wife she used to wear "obsession." I could not handle that scent (in a good way) and it more often than not led to us not leaving her bedroom or leaving wherever we were for the nearest motel/hotel.
While I was away I smelled that scent on someone and it brought back a flood of memories (all very good).

Soooooooooo, Literocians. What scent does it for you? I've heard women say they like the "just out of the shower" scent on a man. And I think most guys are partial to peanut butter (oops, fetish given away), but what are some of the more interesting ones. I am sure I am in for some doozies from this crowd!!

Mmm . . . my guy wears Aramis, but smells equally good -- to me -- on a very hot day a good 16 hours after the shower. Pheromones . . .

I myself wear Amazone. He gets a little crazy with it.

I love the scent of Polo. It reminds me of an ex I had and when I smell it on anyone it just turns me on. But I must add my man smells good all the time as long as he doesn't wear brut(I hate brut).

Creamy....Something tells me you don't really need the pheromones (I bet you have enough "moans"....agggghhhh I should be shot, I know!).

BWL, I too hate brut. My brother got some as a grab bag gift a long time ago and wore the shit out of it everyday. Even skunks ran away!!!

if a man's natural scent doesn't attract me, i am not concerned w/ what he covers it up with. i must admit however that i am a bit partial to cool water.

I was about to abbreviate your name and just write "MF" but it didn't really sound good!
Thanks for the response, I assume (never assume) that you mean "cool water" the cologne being that cool water (h2o) really doesn't have a scent. Okay, lets restate the obvious, Nex. Duh!!

This sounds weird, but.. skin. I love the smell of skin, it's the most amazing smell in the world.. Not sweaty skin, not skin that still smells like soap.. Just skin. It's the biggest aphrodesiac in the world for me.

That lacking.. Cool water.

Ooooh Cool Water's leading the race!!
I don't think I ever associated a smell with plain skin. Hmmmm...does darker skin smell more chocolatey?

Uh-oh.

nex, you're killing me! thanks for the laugh --- i needed it. and you can call me mf if you REALLY want to. :) yes, the fragance.

I'm partial to a fragrance called Swiss Army (a cologne).

Also, ummm..this is kinda embarrassing...oh golly. OK, I don't even know how to admit this. It seems that for some reason after I have sex..and even often during, I smell this "pine-like" fragrance. Not sure where it comes from...but no matter what...I smell it. SO...I guess you can say that pine does it for me.

God..that was embarrassing :(

I think someone took to much in during that treesex thread!

Black Velvet....

I know this sounds strange but I love the smell of myself when I am healthy... that and freshly washed hair anyway.

Da chef

I never really noticed it either, until one day.. Well, obviously I did. I didn't know what it was at first-- I was hugging a male friend of mine who was wearing a tank top, and I realized it was just the smell of his skin. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a turn-on it was. Now, I think my nose is highly attuned to the smell of skin.. Heck, sometimes the smell of my own bare skin turns me on. It's just.. Yummy.

After having smelt, no thats the fish, smelled my darling husband critter after a weeklong soiree playin sojer boy in the field sans deoderant, ANYTHING he wears is way good for me. I never knew a man could reek like that. I have managed to develop a thing for Adidas, it really works on him. However, after a, a mmm, a, lets just call it a night of extreme passion, way still get nipply thinking about it extreme passion, the smell of clean mud gets me all hot and bothered. For the hubbypoodledeedoo, its my hair, he loves the smell of my hair. Even though I have attack hair, it will go up the nostrils of anyone within reach. Am I weird cause I like the smell as well as the taste of a man's penis? Does anyone else?

Pheromones, definitely. I have a T-shirt recently obtained from my favorite guy. He wore it a few hours a day over a period of several days (no cutting the grass in it, or any other working hard)and gave it to me. I can bury my face in it and smell him, feel him, when he is hundreds of miles away.

He'd kill me if he knew I told anyone, but he loves my Design perfume because it reminds him of me, same as the smell of his shirt brings him back instantly to me. I gave him a small atomizer filled from my perfume bottle, and he will dab just a tiny tiny bit on himself so he can sniff during his work hours and think of me. At first I thought he was nuts, but now I think it is kind of romantic.

I'll tell you what doesn't do it for me. Joop. That stuff's just plain nasty! And anybody that literally bathes in their scent. Yuck! But apart from that, there is no one scent that appeals to me. Most do as long as they are subtle. Well, must wind this up as I have been requested elsewhere! LOL

I don't think people wear cologne anymore in order to cover up bad odors. (Unless you live in a country where deodorant is not customary.)

I can't name any men's colognes in particular that I like, but I've never smelled a men's fragrance that I disliked. I just love any cologne really. Even my kids' pediatrician's cologne sort of turned me on. So, any of you guys out there who want to catch my eye (or my nose, as it were) splash a little scent on, and I'll be following you around with a giddy grin on my face real soon. ;)

LMAO!! There goes Nexxus again, insulting the users!

I'm not a big fan of cologne or perfume. If I can stand two feet from you and still clearly identify your brand, it's too much for me. I like the smells of shampoos, deodorants (Manu's drives me wild - it's some sporty musky thing), and soaps. I wear body sprays every now and then - Clinique's Happy is a good smell, and all those lil ones made by Calgon are really nice too - and that's about it. Manu never wears cologne, and I'm glad. I love the smell of his clean self. I dated a guy once who BATHED in CK for Men and I felt dizzy when I was around him, like I was in an unventilated room with paint thinner.

My favorite smells are citrus, jasmine, vanilla, chocolate, and sandalwood. And kitties, but they haven't found a way to bottle that one yet.

Ooooh I love Happy. Laurel, have you tried White Musk? Jovan I think. Smells really good. To me, anyway. Musk, and something sweet.

ok, this is gonna sounds incredibly weird, but I love the way my husband smells when he comes home from putting in a hard days work. <g> He just smells incredibly good when he's sweaty. <yes I know I'm weird, even my dear hubby thinks so>. For myself, I rarely wear perfume, as it causes me to sneeze like crazy, when I do, it's Chantilly. But I prefer wearing like scented lotions. i.e. Victoria's Secret's Strawberry and champagne, or vanilla shampoo, or apple scents. I love to smell good

*runs out to buy some Swiss Army*

SS babe, I always though pine smelled kinda good. If that's what you smell during or after sex it shouldn't be too bad. If it was me with you and I smelled that, I'd kinda like it. Don't worry so much sweetie, ok? :) (((((SS)))))

I don't have any particular preference towards perfume. BUT if I can stand in the other end of a room and still determin wish fragrance you use. You use so much it's nausiating.
I'm also one of those guys who look extremely funny, when walking through the perfume section in a shopping mall. I tend to hold my breath, so I won't throw up by the smell.

I myself has had some pretty good responses when I use. Fahrenheit or Armani.

I like "Grace" for myself it is light and not overpowering.
Great for the summer. On those really romantic moments I wear "Allure" or "Magie Noire". I love the smell of "Old Spice" it brings back my gramps in a second when I smell it.

Cotton candy is the scent of my childhood along with burning leaves and the smell of rain. Vanilla and cherry pie cooking remind me of my grandmother. It is a fact that the sense of smell has the best memory. I belive it.

As far as my guy goes, I love the smell of him, no aftershave, nothing but him. I agree with Endlessly and Creamy on this the smell of a man is definitely very sexy. There is this smell of outside, leather and shaving cream that I associate with men. That smell makes me nuts. Come on over here Nexus and let me huff ya.
