Arizona Police Officer kills wheelchair bound man...9shots!

the officer did what the citizen requested

should be lauded for listening

“Instead of providing the receipt, Mr. Richards brandished a knife and said, ‘Here’s your receipt,’” Magnus said.

Court records obtained by News 4 in Tucson show Richards has a lengthy criminal history, including a 2007 prison sentence for attempted murder and other crimes. State prison records show Richards was released in January 2018.

Security footage from outside Walmart shows Remington and the store employee slowly trailing Richards as he maneuvered his wheelchair between vehicles in the parking lot. As they make their way across the lot, Remington speaks with a dispatcher, telling her that Richards had just shoplifted and pulled a knife on him.

“He was confronted by loss prevention,” Remington says. “He pulled the knife on loss prevention while I was right there.”

The Walmart employee later told investigators that Richards said, “If you want me to put down the knife, you’re going to have to shoot me,”

How much more do you need to see that would convince you that the police are not white knights?

Exactly why reform is necessary. Why do you want bad cops with guns? How does that serve you. Defending actions means you approve

Being in a wheelchair makes you a victim damnit!

Victims are not violent, just fearful and engaged in self defense.

Especially those that got put in a chair during the commission of a crime...

Little Maddy Assthorn carries a big ol' knife tucked under his chair. Maybe he should visit Arizona.

Please stop pretending you don't fully approve.
I don't approve. Sorry if that breaks your narrative.

I think that we need to remove qualified immunity and let this guy face the music AS ANY CITIZEN IN THE SAME SITUATION WOULD.

It would only break my "Narrative" if it was a false accusation but you defended Kyle recently and I've read enough posts to know that we're lucky you didn't bring up race. After all we can make a safe it was a white guy just so you could crow about how cops shoot everybody. . .but we still shouldn't punish them.

Just be yourself.

Then why do you vote for a Party that fights that?

So, you're saying that because I support your right to defend yourself, I approve of shooting a 61 year old man in a wheelchair?

That's stupid. Are you really that simple?

"Well, you supported this guy who used a gun, so you must support all people who've used guns ever!"

Sound logic, dude.

He was armed.

He threatened individual(s).

He refused to comply with the officers directives.

He was about to enter a building occupied by many innocent people where he represented an even greater danger.

Optics be damned, that was a righteous shoot.

Have you seen this guy's criminal history?

Hell, his injury happened while he was incarcerated!

Long history of violence. I think nine times saved us from him being released
yet again to prey upon society by many of those crying alligator tears now...

Oh, that poor baby, soon morphs into Help! Help! Poor baby is mugging me!

They could have stopped the guy by closing the door.

This was too much force. And after watching some of the video, I want to know if the cop who shot knew that there were people on the other side of his target - because he was shooting at them too.

I wasn't aware that you had access to my voting history.

Understand the mentality/psychology.

I'm omniscient, so the only reason anyone would disagree with me
has to be because they are just partisan Republicans; deplorables...

Understood, but each incident has to be judged on it's own merit not unlike the criminals Rittenhouse shot. In each case it was their behavior at that instant in time that brought things to their conclusion.

You've never worked in a box store.

You have to perform several actions to close the door and even then,
without being locked by the MOD, they can simply be pulled apart...

... even from a wheelchair.

Would appropriate action be to let him assault people while
you wait for the SWAT team to come in and take that one perfect shot?

It is so easy to second-guess the police especially when
you, yourself have never been in such a situation...
