I rented Hannibal tonight..

I am only about 20 minutes into it....

For those who have seen it, I am sure you know what squeamish part I am at.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I LOVED that movie. Ok, liked. If you want squemish, see the last 20 minutes.

I won't spoil it. Just forwarning you.

That was the only horror movie I've ever made it to the end of. I'm a big wuss.

It's a good movie though. Worth the nightmares that are sure to come. ;)

Why are you watching a movie online?

Isn't online. I am just watching and playing at the same time. :)

BTW, for those who have seen it, have you noticed the name they focus on when they do a close up of the FBI's more wanted list????

Scare a bit easily, do we? It was an adequate sequal,(sp?) though. I think with all this talk, I'm gonna watch the better, scarier, "Silence Of The Lambs" later. I LOVE DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I meant to ask was why would you be onling "playing" while "watching" a movie? Especially if it's one you've never seen yet.

We have Cats and Dogs playing... i'm on the computer, with my back to the tv.. i don't have the attention span to watch movies. They bore me.. :( odd one aren't i? ;)

We ALL KNEW that, FG. I CAN'T watch movies I've never seen before, partcially. Just CAN'T.

OK, I can. I HAVE. Generally, I HAVE to watch a movie beginning to end. My Dad ALWAYS flips to movies, part way, and then gets a phone call. He wil get mad if I turn the channel. "I was watching that." "Sure, Dad."

Ack! I just realized Gilly was talking about the sequel and not "Silence..." That is the horror movie I actually liked. I didn't see Hannibal, but did read the book. I know exactly why Jodie Foster wouldn't do it. Thomas Harris did a complete disservice to the Clarice character, IMO.

And, yes, I'm a total baby! Waaa waaa. :)

Computer is facing the TV, so I can see both. I am usually watching the movie while typing, not actually paying attention to the cpu screen unless I am reading the thread

AH!!!! What I meant to say, is, I can't partically watch a movie, I've never seen.

My mom is the same way.. flip flip flip "oh this looks cool" flip flip flip flip flip flip "oh i'll watch this a minute" (just long enough for me to get interested) then flip flip flip flip flip I have a mirror that i can see the tv thru from my comp chair. But like i said, i rarely watch tv. I might watch more if mom would leave it on one station. Or if i went to one of the other 10 tvs in the house.. :D

popcorn and a movie!

i have not seen Hannibal either. i do want to see it.

i just watched Morgan Freeman in Along Came a Spider.
excellent movie. i enjoy his films.

going to watch Chris Rock next in Down To Earth.
gotta get more popcorn and a coffee to wash it down with.

I hate the channel flippers....

I know people who flip so fast they can not POSSIBLY know what they are missing, or seeing!

Drives me up a wall!

Loved the movie, but the bookwas about 100times better. Plus, it was ALOT different then the movie.

He is a great actor.

Regardless of how it ends the book still did a deservice to the characters. I think Harrsi rushed it. The book had potential but the ending crap.

I finished the book, TRYING NOT TO LAUGH!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! Has to be the most OUTRAGEOUS ending of a book, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. He was doing really good and then it was obvious his publisher was pressuring him. The ending sucked. You know it was a cop out for the author.
