Are you scared?

Large crowds.

They have a habit of swallowing up individual identities and making people do stuff they wouldn't normally dream of doing.

One of my scariest ever moments was being caught in a crowd surge on New Year's Eve in London. People were pushing, elbowing, yelling, and in some cases kicking, and although there were police everywhere no one gave a damn.

I would have preferred getting mugged at knife-point to that.

Edit: Being left alone in a crowd.

I can handle most everything, but spiders freak me out!

Especially when you walk in your closet and one 6" across is on the wall at eye level in your face!

Aghhhhhh!

Large organizations of any type.

They have a logic that gets followed to its end regardless of who it runs over in the process.

I'm terrified of dogs, and not too fond of heights either. Needles also.

However, my deepest darkest fear is the fear that I don't matter. It may not be a rational fear, but it is there and it can be debilitating for me.

biggest thing that scares the shit out of me is the fear of loosing my child. Past that I get scared but not scared shitless over needles, snakes, spiders and heights. And I think I might have licked some of the height issue with the skydive :D

drowning

the abduction of my children

being forgotten / not making a difference

My children needing me, and me not being able to get to them. Or if I am able to get to them, not being able to help once I get there.

Alzheimers.
