Ok fokes, this Sunday is the last week of the NFL season, after that its playoff time, where seaons mean nothing but Championship rings say it all.

Heres what I want to do for this week, I want everybody to post their picks for the Super Bowl, and once they have the games lined up, have everyone make their picks. Lets see whos team rides the wave to the Championship. I will post each matchup, as well as the spreads. Looking forward to making this kinda a Fox Sports thread.

Now I am a Steelers fan, raised on stories of the glory days, though the team of today lacks alot, mainly a quarterback. I will confess Stewart is no quarterback, he has been in the NFL for 8 years and still plays like a rookie. Madox is no Bradshaw, but he does seem to motivate the team, as well as spread it out. Add to that, the Bus is healthy, a fact that wasn't the case this time last year. Now I will grant it, Stewart has had a few good seasons, but that was mainly due to his receiver core, who saved his INT ass. Now My pick is The Eagles and Steelers for the Championship.

Now my Dark horse pick. Last year it was New England, with some bad calls from the officials, they went on to win it all. This year I am picking the Tennesse Titians.

I don't believe in dark horses. If you make the playoffs you're virtually in the spotlight for being among the 12 elite teams.

Closest dark horse though is the team with the most explosive player, The Falcons...

I have to disagree with ya Shaq. True the falcons are an explosive team, but they are not a complete team. I belive the Titians are on a wave, they have won 5 in a row, they have that emotional engry, which can make a team reach beyond its means. Its just my dark horse, the Steelers would have to play them, and if they do, the game would be in Tennesse. Now the Titians recond against the Steelers is very good, not to mention they did beat them this season, though it wasn't a impressive game. I belive if madox can keep the ball out of the other teams hand, with the Bus running at full strength, I think the Steelers could win that game.

TB4P, thats a good pick. I have heard many say the same thing, and the truth be known, if Greenbay does get home field all the way through, I don't see why they wouldn't be in the Championship. To bad Greenbay is such a bad dome team, LOL

I think there's too much parity in the league for dark horses in general. The fact that the Falcons aren't a complete team is the reason I picked them.

The Steelers and Bucs were predicted to be in the super bowl this year at the beginning of the season by a host of analyst. The Eagles and Packers stand on top of the league but no team has really displayed a dominance that elevates them above all others. Any team that makes the playoffs this year has a chance of winning the super bowl. The Eagles and Packers can each lose to the Falcons or Indianapolis.

To me I really don't see any dark horses...just less likelies....

Well, with the way the teams are looking right now, you have to be good to get in the playoffs. Either you win your division or go 10-6, or you run the risk of not making the cut.

So yeah, all the teams are good, but the question is, who's going to slip under most people's radar? Atlanta is a classic dark horse because most "experts" see them as Vick & Co. Since Tampa Bay shut them down, they'll probably be written off as single-faceted. But if I were a Philadelphia or a Green Bay, I wouldn't want to play them.
