Hello I am interested to hear about peoples obsessions, what are you obsessed with and do you think it has gone to far or is unhealthy or whatever?

Im a huge Pearl Jam fan and I was just on a Pearl Jam message board and what people talking about was beyond belief they were so obsessed you would think they were talking about a close dead relative.

Anyway say what are you obsessed with and don't be embarrassed...........wait a minute you guys are never embarrassed !

I'm not obsessed with anything.. but I'm responding to this thread..because I partied with Eddy Vetter a few times.. *shrugs* sure no one cares.. but I thought I'd share..

oh yeah... Kurt Cobain lived with us for awhile too *shrugs* probably don't care about that either.. but just think of it as useless information

I would not say I am obssessed but I think @ times I get a little to attached to certain t.v. characters on shows.


For example ... I am a big Thrid Watch fan. I love that show and one of my all time favorite people on there was " Bobby" the hunky paramedic. Well needless to say he left the show and they killed his character. I cried when his character died & for a few days I kept thinking about him.

Is that being obssessed ?!?


p.s Was on the same flight as Eddie Vetter .... he looked sooooooooo old.

finally a Literotica Pearl Jam Fan!

I've been obsessed with their music for quite some time, have had some of the best sex of my life in fact while their sound,like chains of universal magnetism, left me spellbound.

It's the music, not a "teen idol" obsession for Eddie...that has nothing to do with it. Sure, he happens to be IMO the best writer of songs with MEANING but he has the finest vocl capabilities of any singer I've heard in todays music. And I listen to alot of music.

It really pisses me off when people say, oh Pearl Jam is dead, musically they haven't come out with anything great since "Ten".

I say, go to your music store, buy a copy of Binaural, their latest studio-produced recording, and LISTEN....really LISTEN

Best song for me on Binaural, although I love them all is "Light Years"....what do you think Bruiser?

oh yeah I have about all the cd's from the bootleg collection....lots of favorites there!

Have to double check my house whenever I leave it, even though I know I locked the damn thing up. Then at night I always triple check my two alarm clocks to make sure that i read them right and that I set the stupid alarm button....

Oh, yeah, I meant to say...I asked my therapist if being obsessed with Pearl Jam means I'm really crazy, she laughed at me. Being obsessed with things like music {or healthy consensual sex} is not harmful....

you go over the line when someone is hurt, including yourself.

True, of-age female redheads.

I don't know what it is, but true red hair is something I absolutely cannot ignore about a woman - unless I happen to be involved with a redhead.

I cannot explain my reaction to them, but I can't ignore them, can't take my eyes off them, can't help but want to meet them, but always get so nervous and shy...

Of course it's not like I would proceed into a relationship with a woman just because of her hair color. Only about 10% of true redhead women strike me as being interesting in that regard.

Fortunately for me I have a redheaded friend who shall remain nameless, who sends me pictures of her hair from time to time. She's such a sweetheart.

Redheads

A true redhead does have a certain allure about them...it is said that red hair is the combination to two pure blonde parents.

My son is a flaming redhead, with a temperment to match. Plus, he is half-Irish...he grew pure red mutton chops last year at St. Patrick's Day.

Everytime I used to cut his hair while he was a toddler, I'd let it grow real long in a ponytail and then rubberband it and chop off the ponytail. I'd keep them in cabinet drawers, in envelopes hidden away, in the photo albums. Thick swatches of curly red hair to look at and remember...folks in the old days would keep swatches of hair in frames with dead relatives.

red hair is also used to keep pests out of garden, you spread the hair around perimeters of your garden. I suppose it keeps human scent around so animals would stay away, but that could also have been due to the fact that he'd pee around the edge of garden if he'd have to go. EEEK GADS if he knew I was posting this he'd judt DIE with embarassment...

So what does make an obsession an obsession? I think keeping swatches of hair around is ok while another might think that's totally off the wall. I know if there is one other thing I'm obsessed with, it's sex...uuummmm yes and giving great blow jobs....

I am a true redhead and my Mother had red hair, but my Father's hair was coal-black...who knows how it happens.

I have heard it said that it is a result of blood sugar and lust.
The chemical reaction of the sun on red-headed genes.

I definitely can get with the blood sugar and lust opinion...especially the lust...hehe

As far as obssession goes, I am a huge George Clooney fan...that is one sexy man. His look, his voice and that body. To top it all off, I hear he is a genuinely nice guy.

I'm a redhead that came from two redheaded parents! However neither of their parents had red hair, but i believe my great-grandmothers were both redheads.

Well speaking as a true redhead.... (both parents were redheaded too.... didn't stand a chance).....


I tend to have many obessions... I just go from obessing about one thing to another... my son says I am just like a dog with a bone.... it could be my favorite author.... or a fav game site.... or just about anything... but I tend to wear myself out in about 3 months... and just move on to something else.... currently my fav obession is this site... but I have been coming here for over a year now and still haven't worn myself out....
